My favorite part of this weeks sermon 💜

If you were near me, maybe I could go back to church. You are one of the few that look for golden threads that tie the Old & New Testaments together that God might be glorified! When righteousness, love & any concepts that can have more than 100 verses, those threads show us who this God is that loves us enough to send His Son because we don't get it without His standards, His justification, His righteousness! Glad you take His Word as serious as you take weights!😊

Resulting in manipulation…a false narrative of human sin and depravity…enslaving people with the exact religious mindset Jesus offered the way out of.

Prove Mary was a teenager. Oh wait you can't. Scripture is silent as to her age and Joseph's age. It is POSSIBLE they were teens, But you can't prove it. They weren't not unwed. Matthew makes it clear that Joseph took Mary to be his wife. And, in case it comes up, no they were not homeless. They had a home they just had the misfortune of being on a trip where the inn ( And most likely there. Was only one in town) was full. Their home was back in Nazareth. In modern terms , it would be like going to Disney World during spring break, not making a hotel reservation and having no place to stay once you got there. You still have a home back wherever you live, but you just don't have a place to stay while you're in Orlando.

I truly appreciate how you are distinguishing between being a morally good person versus God's definition of the standard for authentic holiness. Biblical holiness is much grander and richer than the meaning our limited mindsets give it!! Thank you for including such helpful Scripture references throughout your sermon! And, a very essential component to address in any gospel-centered message is the reality that the call of salvation is an eternally urgent matter!! There is a few variations of Just War Theory. The commonly used is a good start. Murray Rothbard parsed it a little further and came up with a better theory. Both are much better rhan any US president has ever adhered to.

Killing evil is not a sin. The "Thy shall not kill" as part of the ten commandments had been miss interrupted from the original Hebrew. The correct translation is "Thy shall not murder". There is not a living animal on earth or ever been on earth that has not had to kill to survive.

That’s what hard to grasp blasphemy against the son of man with be forgiven but not against the Holy Spirit because the father the son the Holy Spirit are one I thought.? Also I’ve heard it preached no sin is too big for God so is this the loop hole ?
