Mini Adventures in and around Southern Africa, from exploring off road on the Bug Out bike, Mountain Bike trails and Hiking. Metal Detecting, mostly Boer War Relics. I'm an avid angler so there will be the odd Fishing videos, from Sharks, Flyfishing for Yellows and Trout to my favourite sport fish the Largemouth Bass. I plan to do alot more Bush and South African Wildlife videos and anything Bush related. I will also be throwing in my personal take on certain meals.
Serval Viewing at Ezemvelo Nature Reserve - Bronkhorstspruit.
I was lucky enough to Tag along on a Viewing of Three Serval that are to be released on the Farm. I have seen a few over the years, but always from a distance. What a Beautiful Cat this is !

Last minute trip to a Farm Dam with my brother and Nephew. We were a little sceptical on wether the Dams held Bass, and Oh how we were proven wrong! Big, Healthy and Strong like Bull !

School Holiday Trip to the Vaal Dam with my brother, his Son and friend. Never been this side of the Vaal Dam before, very quiet, secluded and beautiful at the same time. Forgot how Hot it gets here. Many fish caught and released.

Day out for the Boys before the end of School Holidays. We threw just about everything at the Bass, but being Prefrontal, they did not want to know anything. The Carp on the other hand were on Fire ! Totaling 16 by the end of the day, the Boys had a blast and that was the plan !

My last trip with my brother being a bust for me, this one got me my first two General Service Buttons, One British which are pretty Common here in South Africa, then the American Button, which apparently not that easy to come by.

Did a short trip to the 424 Offroad Series to catch up with my friends Jarred and Arlene to watch their boy Junior '396' ride for the first time since a bad leg break. What a great day out, dusty as Hell but good fun ! Filming from the Pit area is difficult, trying to get out into the huge field is trying.

Met up with my friend Clint at Ebotse Golf Estate, cycled 5 km through and headed to The Benoni Country Club Trail. Some Beautiful Houses ! Country Club was very overgrown, but always a good leg stretcher, ending off on a couple Ice Cold Draughts at the Green Bar. (Breakfast Beers)

Next time leave the child at home if url can't let him reel some fish in also the poor child is askn to reel fish in n u to big donkeys are enjoying urself i only saw the uncle give the child one chance!
Hahahaha. Before you jump the gun Mr. Padayachee. We have let him reel in hundreds of our fish and still do to this day. Within saying that, kids also need to learn that they have to work for their catch and not always be given a rod with a fish on the line. Good life lesson.

The circles belong to the Batswana people that used to leave in the area, apparently 1000's of years ago....Wits had used laser to look into those circles......we have similar circles in Mpumalanga around Carolina called the Bakoni ruins....

Boet, I think the round ''lid'' thing you found is, or was, a tail light cover, either from a car or motor bike. The large slot would have housed the light while the smaller circle would have been a tail light. Cool finds all the same, each one, rubbish or not, has a story to tell. Cheers

I used to import and distribute here in South Africa years ago. The Rand Dollar situation changed and all went South. I still have a fair amount of product which I use personally, and it produces all the time !
These are really our smaller catches on Case Plastics, Tournament catches were way bigger just not on video, plenty picture though.

Awesome. You will definitely enjoy a traditional smoker. When I get to the stalling temp for pork, @ 72c, I wrap in foil and get the temp to @ 93-95c, then remove and place in a cardboard lined cooler box for about 1.5 to 2 hours to rest. It keeps its temp. You will need spatulas and spoons to handle it after that rest period. Thats a 12 hour stint in total and my tradition is to have a beer when I light the coals ;-) Cheers
