Yeah the el cheapo harbfrate 1k stand is a pile of garbage. I have the 1500lb daytona stand and yes its alittle stronger. But its still alittle wobbly and bouncy with a bigblock with its heads still on.

Always double the capacity on harbor freight stuff and you'll be happy. I bought this same engine stand and put a 390 fe on it. No way!!! Didn't trust it. Best thing about harbor freight is they let me return it for store credit no questions.
