experimenting with layering
Fun with floetrol. Flood Floetrol dries clear. It's a fun experiment using it to create layers on paintings. As you can see from the wet first picture I have no idea what it is going to look like when dry. My center circle dried a little lopsided so I gave her a little gold ring. (Why why is my brain the way it is because now I'm singing if you like it then you should have put a ring on it)
For the based painting, I did a cup pour in the center, and then used sparkly spray paint covering the center "moon" with a bowl. I then poured floetrol and did a dutch over the base painting.

Can you please detailed. What blower are you using? Can we use hot hair dryer instead? (Should we blow with hot or cold mode)? Beautiful art indeed ❤

You just needed to put more paint in each section and/or thin it out a bit more. Also, I feel like the blk/wht bkgrnd let to it muddying as it did. Don't be discouraged, and continue practicing!💚

Awesome! I love the colours you chose. The name of my new technique is Explosion Pop 😊 I'm so glad you tried my new technique and entered the contest. I mentioned in the video I tied off the fingers because I thought the paint would get trapped in the fingers. I love the Heinz ketchup reference.
I completely miss the part about tying the fingers lol. And as you can tell my lovely scatterbrain couldn't remember exactly what it was called 🤣
