I bet they're taking that into account but considering it's Okuyama managing the mechanics with Ogata I'm sure it'll be fine, plus Kanata is at some crazy level of driving. I'm not gonna say Senna level because it's unbeatable in all aspects, but that's some Colin McRae's technique mixed with Alex Zanardi's raw Speed and Felipe Massa's aggressiveness level of driving.

​@@AZay25I'm sure turbo lag can be solved with anti-lag and other systems and techniques, of which Kanata most likely knows how to deal with just fine

Yeah, Okuyama said it could reach 400 or 500 yet he settled for the low ball of 300 but i think kanata should have asked for 350. Kinda in the middle and would still be reliable

It has been available for a while now, its called CarX street. Its available predominantly on Mobile devices, however it has recently been released for windows as well. Do check it out, its a wonderful game. It allows you to setup cars for racing, drifting, circuits and mountain passes and then battles against teams who specialise in the aforementioned categories. You will also have to take a boss challenge for each team. Its as close as you could get to sim racing without any setup. 😎

@carlosnathanieljannjusonal4826 Yes, they said they are going to install a turbo that would increase more than 300 horsepower, Which means the GT86 will have over 650 horsepower in total.

for real its only probably because of the grip to weight ratio or some other rules other than that most cars will outrun 86

Yup, Sena is just a joke, he got beat twice, and the second time was straight up embarrassing, he inherited the lead while Kanata dropped to like 10th place and still got caught, and later after being overtaken again he spins trying to copy Kanata. Such a wasted character…

Total balance, 400hp to 500hp will likely make the car harder to control and hinder the conering ability of the car. This is especially true with the grip-to-weight ratio regulation, where you are only allowed wider tires if you have a heavier car. Adding a turbo will of course add a little bit of weight to the 86, but definitetly not enough to warrant fitting wider tires to the car. So you could imagine how having 400hp or 500hp with the same skinny tires as when the car had 200hp will be pretty detrimental to the handling of the car lol. So 300hp is like a sweet spot in terms of horsepower all things considered.

400-500 hp is for grip driving! And like the earlier guy said the balance of 86 will be torn to pieces. Kanata is using drift driving 300 HP is the standard for that.
