After a 15-year stint with Woodbridge Kart Club & WKA this was nothing when it comes to what can really go wrong when you're racing Super karts or Laydowns which is what i ran at our home track at Summit Point Raceway. Been to many tracks during my time racing & lost one good friend & two that i knew but not friends just fellow racers. It's a dangerous sport & the best kept secret in motorsports & these karts are not toys & it's not a game. Fast & fun & anyone that has raced Karts knows what i mean. Glad no one was hurt here as it could have been much worse.

I don't think it was on purpose. He looked over the shoulder and there was no one there, but that thing was just too quick.

We were the very first group of people to drive on this day with cold karts & cold track which not rubbered in yet. We only drove 1 x 10 minutes session & yet manage to pull off respectable times while searching where the time is on the track.

Unfortunately GoPro didn't record Race 4. Race 4 results at the end of this video.

Whats the difference with super karts to normal karts?

Driver 61 bump drafting 5:57 , 13:33 & No penalties. It's frustrating to see that some drivers break the rules & don't get penalized specially on a National title.

Great racing! You just needed a couple meters more to reel them in (on that seemingly taller sprocket?) at the end!

I got overtaken under yellow flag & there were no penalties for driver 61 at 10:52 - 11:07 (regardless overtaken or not should be never come side by side under yellow flag condition)
