Crazy how combining these two these makes an even more awesome soundtrack. I wouldn't of even thought of mixing these two themes. Its also ironic and poetic in a way since the stages mirror each other because they are both are at the same point of the game. Not to mention the stages are opposite of eachother, this is a masterpiece!
Just realized this was a re-upload, I thought I have seen this a while ago and I remember I definitely heard this before but was unsure due to the view count. Thanks so much for saving this mix man. This is one of my favorite instrumentals! Please have another copy in case this also gets randomly terminated, this is too good of a song to lose lol.

This makes me feel at peace in some way.
These comments about the purgatory and the song makes me wanna have it in the game, but I don't believe it will make it through repentance, it's going to be the final dlc.
Considering how Repentance adds Home and that could take place after Deliruim and Isaac's death, Purgatory could be a second way to do the Ascend or a more literal reinterpretation of how Isaac repented and finally ascended to Heaven.
