I found it easier to fold the back and remove the top part of the seat from the back, only two bolts per seat after you pop the cover in the corner, and then remove the plastic insert, that will give you a much better access to the hinge bolts so you don't scrape your knuckles in case the socket slips, I put all the bolts back as well in their holes so I never loose them, in my case I have a 2nd gen Tacoma very similar to yours but less fancy pants, those leather seats look delicious hehe. You can decide if you want the plastic inserts back or not depending on how much space you need , be aware that without the back seats there will be a lot more road noise at the back, removing will also give you a perfect opportunity to soundproof some more back there . Nice video simple and to the point.
