I grew up near the West Road exit from '65 to '90 when I left Houston. So much has changed. This drive used to be nothing but grass fields. Cattle ranches. Very little development. We would go this way to see the Goodyear blimp.

Got a bid to the Bear Creek station, then held several Executive Administrative Level positions at the North Houston P&DC headquarters where I had retired in 2021. For nostalgia, I need to visit the Post Market, although I'm not impressed with what was done with the GPO. There seems to be so much wasted space.

You did an awesome job on this video. I don’t know if you work here or not I was amazed when you mentioned the underground bc no one ever mentions that. When I worked 3rd shift at Methodist, we would walk underground to Texas Children to the Mickey Ds there. The walk was nice too. I’m at M D Anderson now. Beautiful job!

A construction at Grand Parkway SH-99 from Westpark Tollway (where they're building two new flyovers [one on each side]) to Katy Freeway I-10.
