You know I honestly believe with the mechanics of red dead redemption 2 if you were to combine say something like ufcs button attack mechanic and bumper modifiers, u can really create an immersive and fully developed fighting system with counters punches and kicks.. maby it's a little ambitious but I always think about how games would be of they were combined

Bruiser reminds me of Indiana Jones's fighting style larger health pools for melee fights is much wanted to be more realistic, I'd enjoy them if they dragged on and i wasn't at risk of a ko in 4 hits too... if arthur is fat or skinny he fights harder/slower/faster/lighter with the weight activating each veriation of fighting style that best corresponds to his health would be sick. also, an alternating random, but low crit percentage for ko's would make the fights there entire own minigame in rdr2, maybe higher or lower if an npc/yourself is drunk. have strangling take longer would add to immersion too, and risk of some bystander intervening before you kill them would add even more fun to it.
