Brandon Rudat goes through Warrior Dash course
I love how they backpedal like that once it hits the 10:00 news
I would no more deny a person with a service dog than a person with a wheelchair.
Me: Take the word "dog." Reverse it. So now you are saying God is not allowed in your church?
Hey pastor f--k you n-i-g-g-e-r. You need go back African. You idiots n-i-g-g-e-r
This church cares about one thing $. They obviously dont follow their bible.
Ironic a church dosent allow service animals. Thats not a church.
I work with the disabled and have a disability myself. Houses of worship are private entities. They do not have to allow service animals
Service dogs are allowed anywhere the general public are allowed as far as I know. And as with most churches anyone can enter a church during Sunday service
Unfortunately, churches are exempted from the law. It's sad, but true. When I had my guide dog, I never had this issue. Sadly, though, since churches are private religious organizations that cater to the public, this one's a bit of a gray area.
Oh yes. Its ALWAYS a misunderstanding with any church. They don't like it when they get COUGHT being UN GODLEY
Me of God , yeah right!!!
Christians, really?
They use fear of dogs, doesn't matter misunderstanding is bs just like allergy of dogs. These church people preach god but don't treat those who have a mental illness right, They can't do what a Service Dog can do they are not his life lime during the healing and trying to move forward it is the Service Dog who is as Society as failed us with PTSD/CPTSD. Would they take an oxygen tank away from an elderly person NO, then how do they have any right to do that to a person who has PTSD/CPTSD with their Service Dog that is a forum of medical equipment. There is no excuse and the "Oh someone might be afraid of dogs or allergic" Newsflash they don't need to interact nor sit near him then, so stop making pandering anti-ada excuses for those in church who refuse to understand what a Service Dog is for a handler.
I had something happen similar to me when I had a service dog the church basically done the same thing cuz churches don't want to follow the rules until you say your going to enforce them but taking legal action
For Clear clarification. PTSD and emotional support dogs are NOT service dogs under the Disabilities Act.
clearly there is no god at that church
His dog is not a service dog
Prove it.
Registered are fake
@@teatok1439 Not true. Businesses cannot ask for registration, but handlers can carry it. It doesn't mean they are legitimate or fake. It means nothing. Try again.
@@sdigf3167 aucrully if u knew anythabout service animals u woled know registrations and certifications are fake and illigal
@@teatok1439 Sweetheart, I am a handler, trainer, Service Dog Consultant and Disability advocate. I am well versed in the law. Again, it is illegal for a business to require registration or any other paperwork for access. It is not illegal to sell or carry them. You must be very, very young. Now go do your homework.
In fron Brasil rip forever Holly Bobo
Unfortunately religious institutions are exempt from ADA requirements. I would recommend anyone in this situation to find a more accepting congregation
churches can legally deny service dogs so if that's what they say you can't really fight it since it qualifies as private property.
I feel for this guy! I had the same Treatment from my church as well! They won't allow me to bring my service dog either! I don't think it's right to deny someone that has a service dog from bringing it to church!
Get a new church.
Tax the church!
@Julia HEGARTY go to ADA.gov and prove me wrong....idiot!
@Julia HEGARTY ok well i’m the idiot......just another good reason the church should be TAXED!
YES!!!!!!!!
You do not need permission.
For a church, you do. Religious organizations are exempt from most of the ADA, including provisions protecting service animal access. All dogs may go to Heaven, but service dogs can certainly get kicked out of church service.
@@omargoodman2999 Yeah it’s an odd rule. You’d think that of ALL places, houses of worship would be the last place that would actually be exempt from the ADA. I would hope that most houses of worship accept service animals though simply because it’s the right thing to do.
@@Whoopdido777 it's because of separation of church and state. If religious organizations were subject to ADA, then, for example, the church would have to allow female priests. Also it would be a problem for mosques because dogs are considered unclean in Islam. So, in general, they just can't meddle with religious organizations. But a lot of religious organizations do allow service animals anyway (when there are no practicionary restrictions), for the same reason they have wheelchair ramps even though they aren't required to.
I SAY SIN!!!!
Churches and other houses of worship have the choice to not allow sevice dogs on their property at any time. They are separate from the ADA
Why would a service dogs be a danger to church members? Who created the dog? How totaly unchristian. .
OK - so it is not illegal for a church or house of worship to not allow service dogs. It is one of the very few exceptions of the ADA law. Not sure I really agree with that but there it is.
churches are allowed to deni service dogs
Pretty much every "religious" institution is packed to the rafters with hypocrites.
Boycottt this church, you can't just have a change of heart, the discrimination its bs "Not a misunderstanding" Concern of safety is bs this is not a vicious dog, its an $$$$$$$ trained Service Dog and god puts people like them where they belong in Hell!
Comfort animals are not service animals
For anyone wondering if it's legal to take a service dog into a place that bans them (such as a church): yes it is.
For almost all places, yes it is. However, religious organizations are one of the few exceptions. Religious organizations and their subordinate associations (eg. churches, mosques, religious private schools, etc.) are not subject to most ADA requirements, including service animal access. Which is ironic, since you'd think a service animal would be perfect for a church service. There are also airlines which, instead of ADA, are regulated by ACAA which has slightly different guidelines on how to handle SAs, as well as access provisions for ESAs.
They just need the dog baptized so that he can help service his owner in heaven.
The preacher is a liar. Also, allergies and "fear of dogs" are not exceptions to the ADA.
Religious grounds are exempt from the ADA
Doesn't matter! A service dog is allowed anywhere expect like a procedure room, recovery or Or.
And religious grounds are exempt
Hayley Craycraft however, even if a church does ban them, you won't be breaking the law by taking a service animal in. Most they can do is kick you out, they can't arrest you for it (unless having certain disabilities is a crime, now).
That's not a pastor, that's a hypocrite!!!!
That is the WRONG church, like most they just want to control you!
Hard to believe that one could fear a service dog. But such fears are not governed by reason but something more like instinct.
So kick the person who is afraid of dogs out of the church.
Time to get out of a so called church!
Thank God my church loves my Service Dogs, but unfortunately, most Black churches in Augusta, Ga., won't let you bring in your Service Dog. The White churches are more concerned about your soul than the fact that you have a Service Dog. They are very welcoming
There are specific exclusions in the ADA guidelines for churches and other places of worship... www.ada.gov/regs2010/service_animal_qa.html#misc Specifically, Q34... "Q34. Are churches, temples, synagogues, mosques, and other places of worship required to allow individuals to bring their service animals into the facility? A. No. Religious institutions and organizations are specifically exempt from the ADA. However, there may be State laws that apply to religious organizations."
Why are you going to this or any church? They are are all f****n hipocrites! You'd think they would let any one in just to get a contribution! Brainwashed heathens! Just be a good person, you don't need church, they just want your money!
Fuck you ppl, my Dog is more important to me then your Teriyaki on a stick gawd!..
Going to church with a service dog while white. hmmmmm
How terribly Christian of them. Makes me glad im an atheist
Oh yes, it's always a "misunderstanding", after they get caught and look like hateful fools on the news.
ADA doesnt cover houses of worship, so church didnt violate any laws, I do think he should find a more welcoming congregation though
< ------- thinks the church people need to sit down with St. Francis and have a nice little chat. ;)
Churches are allowed to discriminate against whoever they want, they also don't have to pay taxes. It's not right, but thems the rules.
So...you Churchie types...where (according to Scripture), does YOUR "Spirit of Fear" come from? Either you're a Believer, or you AREN'T. Maybe you're just a damned hypocrite.
Churches are not considered public, so they have a right to deny a service dog. Though most Christian or LDS churches do except them. Just find a different church.
Public or private doesn't matter. The ADA protects SA access rights in both private business as well as public spaces. However, the church does get a pass on religious grounds as religious organizations are mostly ADA exempt.
