Man, she really was one of the greats. I saw them right around this time (‘85) at Numbers in Houston, and she just rocked the fuckin’ roof off as I remember it. The whole band was great, but she _really_ took things next level. I’ve witnessed a lot of great and strong frontwomen through the years, and I wouldn’t hesitate to say that Chrissie was easily in the top five. Unfortunately, here in the states the only thing they were really known for is “I Touch Myself”. Not a terrible song, but way after the fact and far from their best. America is like that. Most people here don’t have a clue, though me and a few others I knew back then were getting heavily into them from ‘81 and onward. She really was the true definition of “rock goddess”, and a real force to be reckoned with. I feel fortunate to have witnessed it firsthand. Rest in power Chrissie

My band covered Pleasure & Pain in the 80s when we briefly had a female singer. I still rotate the Divinyls through my mixes. They were awesome. I wish I had seen them live.

From the first day of the kidnapping, March 1, 1932, Charles Lindbergh was put in official total control of the investigation of the case over all law enforcement in New Jersey, New York and federal FBI. Dude.. "Twelve Angry Months" is on my list of all time favorite albums... I love this album. And as a lyricist/poet, i just love the lyrical concept. Its really well written.
