Hi, I would like to ask when it is the perfect time to let go of the rear brake? Maybe when you get to apex of a corner? I am thinking to try it out on my next track day but scared of possibly high siding. Plus it seems really hard to find step by step instructions on how to back it in. My bike is cb900f hornet btw. Many thanks in advance.
Yes mate, keep the slide going with the rear brake then when u are transitioning off the brakes on to the throttle, let go of back brake. The trick is to have alot of speed, go down the gears as fast as u can, let the slipper clutch engage then slight bit of back brake
@@wilz97 thanks so much for your kind reply. But one more question, what about starting the turn? Do I need to initiate turn in after Ive done all of the steps you explained or maybe after Ive banged down on gears quickly, let go of the clutch quickly and step on the rear brake? Or do these pretty much at the same time I start leaning?

Can I ask why all your onboards are from this angle? No one wants to watch that. Surely a tank/yoke cam would make more sense?
You don't have to watch it mate 🤣. And the reason y is for body positioning, track position, is head looking ahead to next apex, also gives Full picture of me, bike, overtaking ect. If camera is front mounted engine note is quite and hard to know if you've broke at your marker or early ect
@@wilz97 Haha well obviously not, but isn’t the reason for uploading to RUclips generally for other people to watch the video? If it’s just for your own personal reference then fair enough, but I found it because I was searching for some quick laps of Oulton to reference against my own riding. From a third party viewer’s perspective, a front mounted cam would be much better

I really feel bad for your loss honey I'm sorry. Sincerely. But the boys on the track have remarkable skill and training and it's actually safer on the track than it is on the streets. On the track you can trust your life to another rider but on the streets anything can happen. Again my Lady I am sorry for the loss of your loved ones. We just have to believe that they died doing something they truly loved together. ❤
