In this video, I demonstrate how I solvent welded a crack in a lucite (acrylic) vintage Waterman Hundred Year pen from the 1940s. Before starting to work on the crack, I cleaned it in an ultrasonic bath and then gently used mylar paper to clean the insides of the crack.

Here's one simple way to restore cork seals for piston fillers, safety pens, Japanese eyedroppers, etc. I use a rather manual method here, and so it's not the most efficient way to restore seals but it requires an insignificant investment in equipment. I hope this helps!

This is how I typically restore a standard push-knob filler. Pretty simple!
