Sorry you are mistaken, on the Mafell website if you select 120 volt it’s 1955 watts, the European 220 volt is the 2300watt motor . When you look it up select 120 volt
A lot of it. But it doesnt work well on narrow boards obviously. With big timbers it's usually easier to take the saw to the wood, with small pieces it's easier to take the wood to the saw.
The older machines were better, more solid, these new machines are just all gadgets. I don't like their new switch arrangement either, the older saws are simple but effective, not for me thanks.
Very good review; hope we see it in action next time. I noticed that you've installed a Neutrik PowerCon True 1 connector on your machine. For most of mine I've used Festool's Plug It but one cannot go beyond 1.5 KW as the cable & fitting would melt. I think when I get my Mafell KSS80, I'll do as you've done by using a Neutrik ( got a few spare left from my project). Keep up the good work. Kind regards.
A man I can relate to! Not only does K. Wood know all of his saw's features, but he knows that his power cord contains 12 AWG conductors. It was really cool to see that Neutrik powerCon connector on that custom pigtail, Kristopher, because I ordered the exact same [set of] connectors a few days ago. I just can't feature trying to stuff my Mafell tools into their boxes with a huge coil of power cord attached. It's much easier to do the do, wire up the pigtails and create one (or two) dedicated power cords for use with all of your Mafell stuff. Kind of like making a custom "Neutrik" extension cord, aye? By the way, is your saw the US (120V line) version?
Brilliant mate. Thanks for doing this one. Adding some cutting using the rail you showed and a normal rail would be even better ;) But thanks for a fantastic review. Youake it easy for someone like me to be able to decide which saw to get. Thank you. Pavel
Now that you have this saw for a while now, would you still recommend it?

Can’t this saw basically do anything a table saw can do?

Great video. Very much appreciated

nothing about KSS 60 cc?
hey buddy is the blade guard made of plastic?
Yes, I believe it's made of the stronger glass reinforced nylon. The riving knife is metal however.
