Drainage Water Management
In this webinar, Dr. Ehsan Ghane, Extension Specialist and Associate Professor at Michigan State University, explores innovative strategies to address phosphorus pollution in the Western Lake Erie Basin. Focusing on integrated conservation practices, Dr. Ghane highlights how combining soil health, nutrient management, and advanced water management can enhance water quality and support sustainable agriculture.
Dr. Ghane explains that legacy phosphorus-nutrients accumulated in soil from past fertilizer applications-accounts for over 80% of phosphorus loads in the region. He emphasizes that nutrient management alone is too slow to meet water quality goals, requiring decades to significantly r...

4:40 in south india how is groundwater outperforming canals? don't the orange and purple colors imply more canal irrigation?
I’m a big fan of mega Jain 🎉
This is terrifying.
I guess this is the only pipeline in us that crosses a freshwater body of water
finance.yahoo.com/news/u-biggest-gasoline-pipeline-halted-112924617.html The operator of the biggest gasoline pipeline in the U.S. shut down operations late Friday following a ransomware attack that threatens to roil energy markets and upend the supply of gas and diesel to the East Coast.
What would LNG do?
It has been over a year since this was published and yet there has been no concrete legislative progress in creating a sustainable preventable solution for an oil pipeline spill. jesus christ. we're going to lose our lakes.
+Joey Stinson Lots of committed people are working to prevent that from happening. We can only hope and keep pushing.
Presuming this is light crude? What if they put heavy crude (tar sands) through the pipe?
they do.
I attended the recent Pipeline Symposium in Petoskey, MI. Listening, observing the man from Enbridge while he tried to reassure the audience. How they had everything under control. I don't believe he even believes what he was saying. The look of "fear" in his body language, spoke volumes. I've seen the video of the pipeline. It's not sound in the least bit. No wonder Enbridge did their best to block the making of the video..... If the pipeline is to remain, it MUST be replaced. It needs to be shut down now to prevent the inevitable.
Beautiful work, hideous reality…
