Hola, acabo de unirme al canal. Tengo problema con mi masa, en la parte de la estrella tiene desgaste y los pines no hacen buena tracción y cuando hago fuerza casi no avanza pq patina, tiene solución eso?

Is there a way to adjust the cable holder (the black sheet metal part that holds the cable) angle relative to the shaft flats? Right now when installed on my bicycle it points up 15 degrees or so. Water is dripping towards the sprocket.

I had put the smaller of the three spiral springs in wrong position. Result: In several gears the drive wheel was spinning freely and the break did not work!

help,the bike i ordered from across the country arrived with rear wheel off and the little shifter piece still hanging by the cable,the actual cable nut is still attached and wont come off at least not easily,videos show it simply being taken off with fingers,what gives

I saw a video of someone trying to fix a Shimano Nexus 8 and that model was far too complex for the average person to assemble and disassemble to maintain. Maintenance on that should be every year or two and would cost too much by a professional, but that doesn't really matter because no bicycle shop would want to do it. This Sturmey Archer 5 speed appears to be much simpler to service by an amateur, while giving a larger gear ratio than the 3 speed. Would you agree? Thank you.

Very well ll done. 👍 A slight improvement would be to make a cream by mixing light mineral oil and paraffin wax. Use a double boiler, or just two pans inside each other, to heat the oil and melt the wax in it. You could try different proportions of wax to oil. Then apply the cream to the leather and it will absorb in. Apply to the top surface and underneath. All the best. ❤️🇺🇦🇬🇧
