There is no fine of musical harmony or rhythm every put together that would surpass these ladies , all other are good but this group would have to be at the top. Their present is untouchable .

Of the several covers I've heard of this Herbie Hancock original, this is by far the best... right up there at the top with Quincy Jones' rendition.

Love Quincy but let us be clear - this is a HERBIE HANCOCK composition!!! And his version in spite of all other really good ones I have heard, is still the one to listen to first.

Has anyone heard EWF's Philip Bailey's Version? His vocals (the only one's I've heard) are laid back, mellow and pure jazz vocals... I think it's another compliment to Herbie Hancock's timeless Masterpiece!

I've loved this song since Herbie Hancock first released it 40+ years ago. I'm sure he is proud of this version. ❤️ those vibes.

OUTSTANDING!!!! I heard Quincy Jones' arrangement(which is what this band played) before Herbie's original version. What's cool about Herbie's original version is there is a short section where the time signature switches from 4/4 to 5/4 for 4 bars and then back to 4/4. Quincy's version stays in 4/4. I prefer the newer version.
