I want hyper sonic

I hate to say, but I get the strong feeling this might be the last movie in the series. They may have the steam for at least 1 more with Chaos, but I don't think Metal. I say this because listening to the trailer something is weird with the way Eggman says "if I can't rule the world, I might as well save it", like he's desperate, maybe sacrificing himself to stop something, maybe that black hole thing? If so, this might be the way they sunset Jim Carey into retirement. It would be tiresome doing 2 death fake outs in a series. Eggman's involvement in Chaos' story was just shallow enough that it could be written out to focus more on the Echidna tribe's, but if they do off Eggman, there is no Metal without Eggman.

Every dark aspect of Shadow's story will be removed from Sonic 3 unfortunately. From the trailer it looks like they are cutting the entire Space Colony Ark from the story, and making Gerald a goofy ghost just like they did Pachacamac in the crappy Knuckles (Wade Whipple) show.

Sonic 1: good movie. Didn’t really feel like a “Sonic movie” Sonic 2: great movie. Focused more on being a Sonic movie than a normal movie. Super Sonic was sick as heck Sonic 3: from the first trailer, looks 10x better than Sonic 2

Considering that in the trailer we see Shadow seemingly cut power to a city, I have to wonder if they’re going with a different plan for the villains’ arc. “Destroy the planet” is certainly not a new concept in stories, and it would be far too predictable of a plot for the long-time fans and would feel uninspired even to the average moviegoer who goes to see this with their kids. So how about this for a plot: Gerald and Shadow grew to understand humanity’s potential for unity and progress aboard the Ark Station, but the violent cancellation of Project Shadow reminded them of how even the best intentions are controlled with bureaucratic restrictions and covalent corruption that ultimately fling much progress made back to square one. Shadow and Gerald continue to see that humanity is marching down a selfish path straight to destruction and decide that the only way to save it while also getting revenge on the government for the murder of Maria and their colleagues is to tear it all down and begin anew. We never really think much about how precarious our comfortable, modern lives are until there is the threat of a natural disaster wiping out our livelihood or even the aging power grid finally kicking the bucket because of an extreme climate shift. How long would it take for society to completely collapse? How many people would inevitably die of hunger or exposure because we can’t deal with such scarcity anymore? It would be a relevant topic for the movie to discuss while being far less initially destructive so that it could be shown in a family film. In an ironic way, Shadow’s view in this case could be seen as valid. In his mind, he’s giving the human governments a push to be less divisive and punishing them for their heartlessness.

Shadow the Hedgehog movie would be something that if made well, I could literally die happy. The movie version will change many things, and I am sure I will be annoyed with the Sonic 3 movie about some details not being the same like in SA2, for example Gerald being alive. But in ShtH, I would love to have a different version. Because I love the premise. The Black Arms are so cool in my opinion. It gives me the same vibes like when the Chitauri attacked New York in Avengers 1. We didn't really have a good modern alien invasion like this in movies. And the game made the mistake that the entire Middle of the game is non canon. The only thing that is canon is the intro cutscene and the final story. But the middle where Black Doom would have told Shadow about Maria and how humans executed her, how the GUN general confronted Shadow, how Eggman tried to lie to Shadow about being an android in hopes Shadow will become his loyal servant, the White House space laser, the attack on GUN stronghold, the memories of Gerald's research... So much ideas that could have made a super compelling story. Instead, they are just vague ideas what could have happened in a cool story. Seetling that in a movie, that would be top notch. Tpo bad that in today's world, I doubt a movie about Black Aliens could be made, because of how stupid Hollywood heads will think about what it symbilises.

I've noticed something... With Sonic, his media seems mid or good, but with SHADOW, his media is probably better than Sonic Mania with all of him(haha) combined. So SEGA, include Shadow mor in future titles/media.

They understand Sonics character and the series so well. They clearly have done their research. With a game series that has had some rough patches, I'm glad to movies are treating Sonic as he should be treated. Possibly the best game movies ever.

The thing coming out of the river looks like a flying saucer, and tails looks like he is flying out of a much larger ship in space. I bet the river ship is how they get to the ARK.

yea its actually really cool how they show some sonic friends by 1 in each movie, i really hope they get Amy and Rouge the bat by the end of Sonic 3 movie or sonic 4 movie for 2026 witch is already comfirmed witch is wild already, also in 3 i see a Cheese witch means Cream the Rabbit has to be in this one if not thats okay there is always the next one

possibly hot take: I do NOT want Shadow to sacrifice himself in the movie and "die". We already know he'll be back by the next movie they make, it's just guaranteed by the market and the games themselves. Instead, I think the end to this movie should be that Shadow does the sacrifice play, but then Sonic, in his super form, saves him. We could then have a scene in which he makes up with Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, suggests they're friends now and then he leaves. He would be their friend from afar and whenever there's trouble, he can pop up, but he'll be busy figuring himself out now. He needs to find out what he should do for his own future, what sort of person he wants to be. Cue Shadow the Hedgehog movie!

What about a terminator style 4th movie with silver and Neo metal sonic

There are a ton of rumors of other characters appearing in this movie as well. IMDB has a few people with unlisted roles, most notably Jorma Taccone. As of right now, James Wolk is playing a Voice but it is unlisted as to who a few potential options could be Espio or Metal Sonic if they tease him. Sofia Pernas sounds a lot like Rouge from her voice acting roles, but could even be playing Amy for all we know. Cristo Fernandez played Wheeljack/Pablo from Rise Of The Beasts and could be Espio or even Big The Cat. If they're doing Sonic Heroes characters for a setup movie, this could be a fun ride for the finale.

Soleanna from Sonic 06 was literally based off the real-life city of Venice, Italy. So they film the majority of a potential Sonic 06 story adaptation there. Wow, what a world that we live in where people want to see Sonic 06 on the big screen! 😁

If Amy isn’t in this one, I have a feeling they’ll show her post-credits along with Metal Sonic and Sonic 4 will be a combo Sonic CD and Heroes mashed together.
