@sharon-startingafreshat50 Work on monday, then off till 28th. 3rd Christmas without daddy, things getting bit better. Still don't want to be at home xmas day, so going away. Plenty to do at home, so gonna do lots of tidying / cleaning when I get back.

@sharon-startingafreshat50 No, I never got another dog. I was upset for years, and I couldn't go through that again. Also, I worked full time, and the vet fees are so expensive. My daughter has 2 labs. I adore them x

I think as Ollie spends time away from me it won’t be so bad. I’m used to him not being here. I do get a better nights sleep without him hogging the bed. That said tonight he’s on his side not sleeping diagonally. Yes not fair to get a dog if you are working. But great you get to spoil your daughters labs xxx

No. He’s fine. He’s 13 in May. He’s a big dog and that’s a good age. His legs seem good today but who knows. Would never ever let my Ollie boy suffer, if he was in any pain or didn’t seem happy I wouldn’t keep him to make me happy xx

I know. 8 days till Xmas. Laid in bed all day and can’t find the will to get up. Feel utterly devastated by it all and really finding it hard motivate myself. Just wish Christmas would be over xx

Yes, sadly you are right. I thought she was decent - but unfortunately not. I will be reporting him to the police. But we all know that those with nothing and contribute nothing have no repraisals. Ah thank you. Yes, the tears and come This week and not stopped. I seem to cope when I’m in a situation and then when it’s easing I start the waterworks. I’m now shelling out £2,500 redecorating and then it needs carpeting. Yes this was her boyfriend who took over the flat. Cheap rent. I’ve requested him as a friend on Facebook and strangely he accepted. Sent him a video and his mother saying how could he treat me like that after everything. His mum has said the flat was full of green mould and made him and his late girlfriend ill. As you can see it’s not full of mould. A bit in the corners of the bathroom. Where there’s no heat, no venting and the steam from A Shower etc. unfortunately renting has so many complaints of damp when it’s not damp. It’s condensation due to drying clothes, too many people in a small space, cold walls and no heating. Anyway I’m Not as resilient as people think. I am a constant worrier. Worry about everything. But it’s what you show on the outside people see xx thank you xx

How can that be fair. All these things are leading to less landlords and less properties to rent and higher rents. Stamp duty has stopped most in their tracks. As well as capital gains and section 24 where you can’t even offset your mortgage payments against profits (well 20%). Sadly it’s all bad news for good tenants. Good landlord. Happy days for the ones like this as yours. It’s total madness. Need some proper punishments like those dished out in Middle Eastern countries. If they were accountable then it would be different. I think guarantors are probably the other answer seeing. Seeing this guys mother all proud her son is back home. I’ve screenshot all his friends and am contemplating sending this video to them all. Wish I had done a property check with my problem tenant this year.

Yes. More And more Legislation. Shame. I want to provide housing to people. Obviously my own gain is there too. But I get the odd thank you text from a tenant for her home and it’s a nice feeling xx

Agree but is that worth the hassle and the risk of more damage. A friend decided to sell hers when the tenants had an open fire on the living room floor ! There comes a point when it’s just too much .

Yes. It’s not easy for sure. Always at the back of your mind - constant worry. Not that going to work is easy either. Seems renting someone’s property, paid for by strangers and seeing handouts paid in every couple of weeks whilst lying in bed is much less stressful. The system is completely broken.

I have to get it rented. No choice. And quickly. Guessing will take 8 months to recoup my losses. Luckily the rent will be at market rate this time.

@sharon-startingafreshat50 My son moved in a bungalow 18 months ago, and the place stunk of stale smoke. It still does think the smoke got deep in the walls, and it's just not shifting. This is social housing, though.

Doesn’t matter how it’s housed. Nobody wants or deserves (well some people do) to live in a smelly house xx

@@sharon-startingafreshat50 Yes I see that. Such a shame. We rented a house out and they absolutely trashed it. Broke the heating and claimed we wouldn't fix it which was untrue - they wouldn't let us in! then when they agreed to it being repaired they slagged us off to the heating engineer not realising he was my brother in law. We had to evict them in the end as they owed us 6 months rent. x

I know. How can it be lawful. Doing this to my flat. Somewhere that he begged to keep because it reminded his of his girlfriend. It’s an insult to her. Imagine having to retrieve sentimental items. Selfishness

I live on my own. So tend not to cook anything exciting. When I did the slimming world stuff I was cooking for a family, I also had the budget to spend a fortune on ingredients and earn very little in RUclips (50 dollars a month). Things have changed xxx
