I appreciate this video. I’m First Nation and I’ve often shared my culture / traditions with children in elementary schools and high schools. I was always sad to hear that many believe that there are no “Indians” anymore and that the genocide of 40+ million people (man, woman and child) was justified. Here in Canada we are committed to healing and reconciliation because there’s no other way forward. Yet, there’s no forgetting the past, and the hate. I have two children and a grand child - and every day they deal still, with people’s prejudices and old programs. Luckily they are stronger in their Spirit and they’ve returned to the traditional ways. We are still here and along with Mother Earth we are purifying and renewing.

Yes, this is that tine! I live far from cities on land on the Continental Divide. I plant a small garden but otherwise, my land is untouched and free roaming for the birds, which I give water to, the coyotes and all the other animals that belong here and have lived here long before I came. It is a very sacred place; Coyote Star runs the ridges it is so low here. I live and eat simply, mostly beans in a small house. I rarely drive. I have tried to live and walk lightly on the Earth. I am an old woman; I will not see the end of these troubled times but my spirit sends love and strength to all the those here.

The native American people have a long history of worshipping spirits and consulting animal guides. This is not some ancient wisdom it is simple spiritual deception and idolatry which is forbidden in the bible because they are in reality just listening to demons.
