Makeit Breakit; all construction starts with some destruction and some ends with a little too. They say the old ways are the best and I think they're right, who ever they are. Before the days of health and safety and action being litigated to within an inch of it's functional potential there were the days of make it and see if it breaks. If it does, do a better job next time.
Your car is broken! April Fools! No really it's broke.
There I was, making my merry way back down south after visiting the family in the North when suddenly: Boom! Car's broke. Wait, it's April fools day, is this some kind of joke? Nope it's really broken. Like really broken. Will I make it back to my home or be stranded on the side of the road in a cloud of oil smoke and tears? Lets find out.

Maybe before putting this video up the person within should think about safety, bare feet and supporting a board between his legs, also hammering the screwdriver towards himself ....accident waiting to happen !
are those steel toe capped toe nails??
Please dont point a sharp screwdriver towards yourself when taking out staples, one day it will slip and you will have a unwanted hole -in yourself.
This is just the 1st step. Most people could figure all of this out. What would be much more useful would be a guide to flattening the boards, removing cupping etc to allow the boards to be used for any thing useful

Just rip the ends off its alls i did gives a good rugged look also
You don't need to predrill the end grain unless it's MDF.
does mdf have an end grain?
and leave the old staple and nail ends in if its a woodworkin bench
i think id just chop the metal bits off
toppertruthio yep. The boards are long enough to do without the ends.
