Visited Vallejo, Ca for the first time and was in for quite the experience. Driving back to the Airbnb and Day 1 is when we saw "ladies of the night" in the DAY! They were on every block in a concentrated area. Being that we're not used to the area, this was unexpected because the neighborhood didn't come across as "sketchy" etc. Don't judge a book by its cover! These "ladies" had no shame walk...

I'm 100/100 Haitian i left Haiti in 2013 for my studies in agriculture in Jamaica. First of all,in the haitian voodoo they do not sacrify cats or dogs, they used goats, cows. Haitians do not eat dogs.. Haitians do not eat cat as well.
You are a well educated Haitian. God bless you for speaking on it.
Well said.

NOT RUMOR SND HAITIAN GUY LYING HAITIANS EAT CAT AND GEESE REVEYON - CAT AND USE FOR VUDU
yes... if you have ever been to Haiti or to a Haitian "ceremony" you know they do... they also eat cats in some places in Europe (Switzerland), Peru (Ica), All over Asia (and Asians in America) and in some places in Africa... im vegetarian but, that doesn't mean that I condemn people who eat any kind of meat... it sounds wild but, the same things are not taboo for everyone across the board... it is what it is...
Really? I'm Haitian, and that's like me say AA love the pipe. I'm from Haiti, and I never met or heard of people in Haiti eaten pets. maybe coco Mama'w you meant to say, but I doubt any Haitian will want any of that. get mama'w
@@josephLindor-ki7op - well… some AA do love the pipe so you wouldn’t be lying…. Just like some Haitians eat cats and dogs… (of course not ALL but some do (for whatever reason)) it is what it is… the bigger issue in my opinion is the assumption that they are here illegally… they are not, but the Venezuelans who are terrorizing communities with gang violence are in fact here illegally… this Haitian shyt is a distraction 🤷🏽♀️
Where you got that from? As a Haitian American, been to Haiti multiple times never seen or heard such thing. And do you went to Haiti and witnessed that your own self, or you saying such idiotic bs out of RACISM, and FASCISM? WHICH I REALLY THINK IT IS.
@@goldenfreedom7361 - yes I have.
Also the lady who was eating a cat was high on drugs, probably PCP or some other drug laced with pcp. That’s part of the story they are leaving out acting like the lady just found a cat and started eating it.
And that lady name is Alexis Farrell, born in Canton Ohio, not Haitian.
@@josephLindor-ki7op correct and they were showing her as if she was Haitian. Smh but please understand why Black Americans are always fight these racist ppl. The same treatment that Haitians get we have been getting for 400 yrs. They fought us not being able to live where we want and now they are trying to turn back the hands of time. I just want other non- American black people to see what we have gone through. You all ( not you personal) see us doing pretty good and say we are always complaining when we are really just raising our voices to injustice.
I’m American and born in the 70s and I can attest that Americans used to have another name form Africans. It was African booty scratcher. So I just think that if you were American there was a name for non Americans. It’s crazy!! As black America from Florida, I have always been a fierce defender of Haitian people. I have always seem the blatant racism and Otherism by WYT Americans mostly. Growing up in Florida It was clear that Cubans would be accepted and Haitians would be turned back and sent back home. The wet foot dry foot law sickened me as a child. There is no need to wonder why Haitians are stigmatized and I’m not sure why you as a Jamaican lady would be so confused about why. It perhaps is because not being from America you would not know from this view point. Haitians are the most hated carribeans group just like African Americans are the most hated American group. Once Jamaicans or any other non American black person comes to the US, they are respected more than the African Americans who grew up here. Period
I am of Jamaican heritage and from the first time I heard this story, My propaganda radar went off. Instantly because it was an out of place story Haitians have been in America for decades. Nobody's heard this story. Then a group of Hatians show up in a small town. The story comes out. Peole always do your research, especially when the victims or the people being accused are black? People need to do their research right away especially when the people who are being accused are black to figure out ifcthis is fake or propaganda then why would somebody make this up? And chances are you're going to find a reason just like when the anti. Asian hate crime bill came out and there was videos looping in the media 24/7of the same 3 black people clubbing, body slaming and stomping the Asian elderly and women down and harming them. And then the media said black people as a collective only who've been in the U.S for over 400 years are going around attacking Asians. Asians have lived in black communities for decades. Crime is proximity that should have make people's radar go off. And then you find out that all 3 of them had mental illness and we're probably paid to do and there was no group of black people waking up in the morning and saying to themselves. "Oh, where's an Asian person that I can go and club over the head before I go to work or to school? Propaganda and then they got an anti-asian hate crime bill all for themselves shortly after that propoganda was pushed because somebody wanted to give that community millions of dollars for a bigger objective. Hence. Why when I heard this story? My propaganda radar just went off. Nuclear, I said oh no, something is wrong. My spidey senses were tingling and note I've never read anything on 1804. I don't know the history. I just Google it now. for my comment here I just knew without even knowing anything about 1804 this was propaganda. Which had me online especially in the channels of white content creators. Just letting them know to please stop spreading this rumor that Haitians eat cats and dogs, and that this was a rumor and that they need to use common sense that Hatians have been in America for decades. And we've never heard cat-and-dog eating stories, then all of a sudden a whole bunch if Hatians show up in Ohio and other places and all of a sudden, this eating pets rumor comes out, how convenient and there's apparently a man. Driving around in a Van full of cats and dogs and I'm like. Do you understand that 20,000 people don't show up in a small city? Unless the GOV puts them there, they're paid by the GOV, to be there and they're all military age men mostly and so they can be paid to do performative art and also to understand why the voodoo thing is being pushed so much. As the gentleman in this video said, Haiti was the first slave enclave country to get its independence without being nice to the slave master. And what a lot of people don't know is the religion of voodoo back then was more of a communication style. A way to collectively communicate amongst the slaves to plan the revolution, which was a success and the French know this information so does America, and so please note. That, that is something that urks, the French to this day that they were able to use voodoo as a way of communicating and planning the revolution back in 1804, hence the reason why it's being brought up again that they do voodoo and eat cats and dogs. Now, yes, there is. It is a small group that's still practices this thing they call voodoo blood sacrifice of animals to obtain the blood fir a ritual, but as they said in this video, voodoo is practiced in many other countries. But for the French this liss urks them today as they lost to slaves because they were able to use it to plan their insurrection to get their freedom, so please understand that. That is why it's being pushed so much in social media against the Haitian people. It's because it has such an intense bloodshed history with the French and the West. That urks them that slaves were that smart to use it to over thriugh them. Now it has transformed a bit since 1804, where there is now using of animals and stuff. Maybe people are calling it voodoo, but to me it may be more witchcraft that they're actually doing and the West is trying to taint the Haitian people by using the word voodoo. When it was really just a secret. Communication technique used by the slaves to plan the insurrection against the French back in 1804. It urks the French to this day, but they didn't know how smart these people were cause remember. They view black slaves as not intelligent, dumb and meek, so for them to have accomplished that in 1804 is huge. So when you hear this about the Haitian, people understand the history of 1804 anf hiw the communication style back then called voodoo helped the slaves plan and successfully execute ihe insurrection against the french. So what you're actually seeing or hearing about with animals today is probably not voodoo. But they're using that word it's more like whitchcraft, which is basically getting the blood of an animal and, apparently doing a ritual to protect yourself from harm? Cause you probably gonna do something shady ir dangerous. But the original, so-called voodoo was actually a religious communication to plan an insurrection back in 1804 I don't think the voodoo then and the voodoo today that it's being called, which i believe is actually witchcraft is the same thing. So no, the Haitians as a collective are not eating cats and dogs.It is just once again.People taking something from a history where they lost and trying to taint these people. Now, could there be a paid person or persons going around with cats and dogs in a white van and performing weird things and making sure there's an audience to see it and repirt to the news we are luving in the crazy upside diwn worl now where good is bad and bad is good so wouldn't suprise me if this perso or persons are being paid to do this. but what any witnesses are actually probably seeing. Is someone engaging in a witchcraft practice which is not exclusive to Haitians and not exclusive to black people but from smal subsets of all cultures? From white to black practice some firm of whitchcraft, so not exclusive to Hatians. But if a gation person chooses to practice whitchcraft that us not a Hatian collective that is that persons choice. So undrstand the 1804 history of Haiti & France and what technique the used (Voodoo) to plan an issurection and overthrow the French and now who in the West would want that roumor going around to taing a people the west keeps destablizing. So no Asian people as a collective are not eating. Cats and dogs you need not worry every time you see, unless you know what's the paid acto be concerned? About your animals.🎉

It is not a myth that Chinese people eat cats and dogs as well. In one country, that slips my mind right now, the cat population had dwindled down to almost extinction. That practice has been outlawed in most of those countries, but it still goes on to a certain extent. But it also happens in some other countries as well. Switzerland outlawed the practice, but people are still allowed to eat their own pets.
Really? Switzerland? Wow. It accustom/normal in some cultures and the people in those countries are ok with it. But Haitians are so prideful & denounce any accusations of eating pets.

@@2KoconutHeadsand my question to you is why the f would you even believe us haitian's eat dogs or cats? since you're a lady I'm gonna be light on you, you heard
Thanks guys for the content. I am Haitian, born and raised in Haiti. At first, I was shocked by all those rumors about us. I am 30 yo and prior to this, I've never heard or encountered in Port-au-Prince any haitian who eats cats or dogs. But, after those rumors, I started to question randomed patients in the hospital I work in (I am a medical Dr) and people in the streets about this. And, some people told me that they have heard or known people who eat cats. But it is really rare. I think 95-99% of us dont do this. It's really about a tiny minority.
It’s always hearsay. People that say this usually say they heard it from someone and who they heard it from usually heard it from someone else. I’ve yet to hear a story where someone seen it with their own eyes.
Fun
Well done!!!
