I know this song is about military loved ones but it hits me hard. I lost my fiancé on Christmas Day 2023 after two weeks in ICU and hospice from a TBI he never woke up from. He was only 37 and I 35. When she says "Baby why did you leave me why'd you have to go I was counting on forever and now I'll never know..". All of our hopes and dreams just gone. Trying to figure out how to navigate the rest of my life without my best friend and soul mate and two kids between us is impossible. It wasn't supposed to be this way. I know one day in heaven I will walk down the aisle into his arms and get to hold him again. My prayers to everyone who has lost someone and is hurting. We will all be strong together ❤
