Instant sub! Thought it was me for a 1/2 a second..btw your way better then scales at me and climbing fret boards. I guess being a southpaw lefty with a right hand messed up licking thumb doesn’t help. When I was about 21, we went to UMASS to video record ourselves BMX riding and I went to do a 16-stair gap to Icepick or something and well I fell on my damn head got a concussion broke my right thumb popped my left shoulder out of socket and stayed that way for 11 hours until the next morning when I woke up and I had to wait 3 1/2 hours for someone to drive back from the Cape to bring me to the emergency room to reset my shoulder and thumb. I was 21 at most now I’m 37 and just started seriously playing the guitar maybe seven months ago realistically three or four. Sorry for rambling love your sound and guitar tone. Keep it up bro 🤘

This is about 3-4x slower than the original, but I like this lick as it highlights the main idea behind Sena's use of chromaticism: they are interpolations between notes on the diminished scale. Almost every Jiluka chromatic run is 4 notes per string; the first and final notes are all part of the diminished scale, and we transition between those two notes by inserting 2 chromatic notes in the typical 2-fret 'blank' separating them. You can experiment by leaving leaving out the two middle notes per string in the final chromatic descending run and you'll get something that sounds really Necrophagist-y, but otherwise fits in with the key.
