@@GatePix Seeing how o1 went from "by the end of the year" to "the end of September" to "actually, it's out already and available to everyone" I think is an indicator of just how rapidly everything is accelerating. Now with AlphaFold synthesizing novel proteins and the advent of quantum computers, something quite similar to what you've very elegantly portrayed in your video will become possible within the century.

@@GatePix Beast Machines inspired my interest in transhumanism. It was a sequel to Transformers: Beast Wars where they crash land on ancient Earth and merge their robot forms with terrestrial DNA. I just started experimenting with AI video (working on a concept remake of Beast Wars) and your videos are really inspirational! I'm glad I found your channel! 💖🙏🏻🦋🤖🌳🌻

I agree - gene editing and AI were once considered impossible, but are quickly becoming the new normal. We're still young, and it's likely we'll witness incredible advancements that we can't even imagine today.

It's generic, the voice generation it cringe, the shot arrangement is unengaging, everything is clearly limited by what the AI can do, the sequence of random AI generated images makes no sense. It's like watching that "birds" horror movie but everything is even more dead. Hope you had fun creating it and I am sure the skill will prove useful

@@GatePix i'm an environment artist and level designer, but had various experience. AI is a great tool but i find use only in filling the unimportant gaps

I see some reservations against the use of AI in film making. Why is that?

@@GatePix it is incredibly destructive to the environment, the databases are trained on stolen art, and ai databases perpetuate and exaggerate racist stereotypes due to the information it is trained on, and purely from a creative standpoint it is inneffective due to the lack of control from inputting prompts into a computer. if i wanted to change the design of a character i made, i could go into the reference sheet i made and edit them to exactly what i want. its impossible to fully translate an artistic vision into ai.

I agree with some of your points, especially the need for energy. However, AI filmmaking is still in its early stages and will become more efficient soon, I hope. Are you an artist yourself?

@@GatePix We can also have cats and dogs roaming the lands without any threats and always fed and taken care of. Food is done via a startrek replicator and you live your life in peace. Why have a futuristic looking world when you can have your own planet to yourself? and pass on the planet to your kids and their kids and so on.

Agreed, why settle for a townhouse when you could own an entire planet? You should consider making sci-fi movies.
