Brief intro video of what to expect on the channel.
This machine is a BEAST! I just recently had it in a residential lot with at least 36" tall weeds and the Briggs and Stratton ate it up and spit it out like sunflower seeds. Appreciate the intel on Triax. Never heard of it until I watched this video. I bought both the hydro gear and 4 stroke oil for my new 36 walk behind. May start using it in my 6.7 Powerstroke as well. Much success
Whats your favorite moc toe?
Great question. If I were to buy a pair right now it would be Carolina’s for more of a work atmosphere and redwings for light work/casual.
Nice video! Next time put those boots in the oven, on the lowest temperature for 8-10mins. Put on some disposable gloves, get old clean rag, and that Obenauf's goes on like warm butter.
Have you replaced the drive belt for this. I have the same mower and my drive belt just broke do you have a video On how to replace it.
I do not. Mine has 8 hours on it now. I haven’t looked but try pulling up the manual and looking at the parts diagram. I’m guessing there is an idler pulley somewhere that needs to be loosened before installing the new belt.
Thankyou sir three years later your still helping young men like myself learn how to care for good boots
nice machine
Hi, this is Simon with Bradley Mowers. this is the best uncrating video that I have ever seen. if you don't mind, I would like to share this video to all our customers.
Absolutely. If it helps Bradley Mowers out go for it. If there is any other specific video you would like let me know and I can try to make it happen.
Blade spacers should be 3up and 3 down same deck as a Bunton or a FD keys Exmark same with the front casters 2 up 2 down should cut great. Great mower like the old days we cut with in 1984 good luck with your new mower 😊
You need to get In the Shop With J vinyl stickers for your fans
Noce
🔥🔥
It's still satisfying watching somebody else uncrate they machine as well
It’s part of the fun of it. I’ll have another video coming up with topping off everything, greasing everything, and first start up.
I'll be here watching that one as well 🤣🤣
Impressive…how did you offload that and get it into your garage?
thanks for sharing. just used this for the first time on 5 pairs!
how long after application to use item like old briefcase? thanks.
Good product..
Is nobody gonna mention the cameo of the Couch Crowder™️ in the window???
Thank you brother. I was doing it so wrong lol
Thank you.
Do you have issues with evaporation over the summer?
Over the summer I run non-ethanol fuel mixed with amsoil oil. 50:1. No issues whatsoever. I mix 2 gallons at a time. Recently I have switched to aspen 2 fuel for storage or for my low use machines. Very impressed with the aspen fuel.
how often should i do this
Depends on your use. When I see the boots starting to lighten up and dry out some I put more on. They make an oil as well. I would say once every 2-3 months would be good.
what a weapon was going to look at the Honda until I saw this
Thanks for your video! Really helpful.
I was taught to oil up into the seems to make shoes and garments more flexible and reduce stress on the leather goods
What's it made of, do you know? The grease, I mean.
Beeswax
The color darkened quite a bit: does it go back to the original as the grease wears out in daily use?
They will return to their original color after some time. This doesn’t fully waterproof boots, but repels the water and more importantly keeps the leather soft and prevents cracking. I have also used Bickmore LP with success. But obenaufs is my favorite.
Thanks! Would you then additionally waterproof your shoes (if you wanted them fully proof)? And how, if so.
@@bramblebop1904 you really can’t fully waterproof them unless they were designed that way from the manufacturer with a liner or membrane built into the shoe. This product will keep you dry in wet days walking around, but not for standing in puddles.
There's RUclips videos where they oil their shoes with mink oil or even beeswax ,alone or in combination with other chemicals... or even silicone! But I would imagine these wouldn't condition leather, only repel water.
I mean, it seems like you'd need both, but how exactly. Waterproofing won't let a conditioner in, just like water. So do you condition first and _then_ waterproof?
What else have you used?
Does it waterproof them too?
It helps yes
It wont completely water proof them as for that to happen they would have to come with some kind of lining but it will help repel the water. Hope that helps!
Is there any other way to heat up the boots before adding Obenauf's?
Could use a hair dryer buy really no need go heat them up. The stuff will soak in np
@@ksajak sweet thanks
@@rdg760jr2 np. The good thing with obenaufs lp is that it melts between your fingers from your body heat. Even obenaufs themselves suggest using your fingers to apply it because of that reason. Stuff is amazing! Good luck! I know they'll come out great you dont need luck lol. Just remember a little goes a long way! For both the oil and the lp!
Sounds like you made some good choices. Do you have a dirt bike background?
I have owned many over the years. Mostly yz’s and cr’s. Had a built 250r as well.
Nice video nice trimmer too bad its not available here in Jamaica our stihl dealer refuses to sell them.Guess we will have try getting it online somehow.Great video.
from the way I understand it is a purge bulb. You can push it constantly for a 1/2 hr. It just recirculates and does not flood. Flooding I think is from over choking. ?
You press the purge bulb 5 or 6 times. What idiot would press it for 1/2hr. It'll start fine with 5 or 6 pressings of the purge bulb.
How about a lesson on how to optimize the HS and LS carburetor adjustments? I can't find information anywhere.
How do you rewire it
I feather it but would rather use the 94R for my house. It's just way too powerful for residential. I use mine for my acre.
Hi. I use it and like it. The only thing is because of the Bee Wax it attracts dust.
Just got some new lace up Danner boots. Wanted to make sure I keep them in good condition for the price I spent. This video helped alot. Thank you very much!
I’m in the same boat! How did they hold up?
Hi. Keep those Chippewa Boots. Chippewa has discontinued a lot of their Boot Line. No more Engineer Boots. Or their Homestead Line.
Yeap. Chippewa now is garbage. Even the Vibram soles are wearing down pretty quickly. Check out their recent lace-up reviews.
Hi. I use the Oil and LP. Love both. The only thing is after it Dries it leaves a Sticky Wax whitch Attracts dirt and dust. But I still use it.
That deal is INSANE! 50% off?!?!?
Should I do this on brand new ariats or is it for restoring them after a while
I would. It will soften them up and make break in easier.
Oh Stihl makes a 26-2 trimmer head that fits exactly 👍😇
I've owned 15 Stihl 4 mix trimmers Stihl ultra oil is the best oil for 4 mix engines because it's designed for 4 mix engines you may have to adjust the valves more often with other oils also if you use a echo speed feed head the line might not hit the cutter bar because of the black spacer drops the trimmer head take care nice video
You cannot get a stihl 4 mix to buy here in Jamaica the only stihl dealer here refuses to sell them. They sell up to the fs85 and then jump to the fs250 and fs 220.
This leather preservative is the best in the world I use it for my holsters I use it for my bullet retainers use it for my boots I use it for my knife holders this is a very good product you can go there
Nice 👍🏾
Do u think the wax attracts dust or is that more so the pastes?
If you are working in a a high dust area then yes, it will attract dust. If they are boots that are just worn around town not so much.
Which Echo trimmer head did you replace it with? What is wrong with the head that came with it. Thanks for the video.
Echo speed feed 400. There is nothing wrong with the factory 25-2 Stihl head, but the echo holds more and line changes are extremely easy. Plus the whole head bumps rather that the Stihl “button” that’s in the middle.
Check these out. Might help ya. Lots of youtube vids on them too. www.darwinsgrip.com
The 131 is a great powerhead.
Obenaufs is good stuff!
The best stuff out there!
