Wow, that sounds really good.
You need the foot break so you can ride it with a car license. I think only the girls use it at the traffic light so they can do the lipstick
So why did the old 300 yourban have more power?
Great bike. Love it 🥰 The stock exhausts are incredible and the video doesn’t pic it up at all. I went with the Streetfighter V4s in Grey/Nero after testing both. The Pani was roasting within 15mins of leaving the dealer. I’ll be doing 8 hour days twice a week so the sports position while very comfortable (for a sports bike) would kill me and I’m only 40 and that’s me in my avatar. Agree re the more race spec sp2 and r. Dry clutch etc. ridiculous for the road .great in track
I'm the proud owner of a K2 600, with 67k on the clock, proof that the old school can take a kicking and keep on ticking! Mines not standard, SP engineering slip-on, 15t front sprocket, K&N filters, and the best bolt on, the Healtech Fi Pro , with the remap , happy days
Sadly Via Moto in Sheffield have moved premises and dropped their Piaggio franchise (including Moto Guzzi). Great bike (I have one myself) but you won't get one from Via Moto iirc.
Loved your review, like the bike, fun and addictive. Mmm, do I trade in my Ducati Supersport S ?!
Think this is the best motorcycle PoV I’ve ever watched
I have 2 yamaha and 2 Hondas no problems whatsoever...
Ducatis are a pain in the ass
I bought a 4 year old Tec Max 560 because I have a twenty year old Tmax 500. Never let me down. Unfortunately I can’t say that with this four year old 560cc Tmax! Very expensive maintenance, and with the electronic trotting it’s not very reliable. Intermittent issues with acceleration below 4000 revs, can’t get it sorted. SoI have decided to move on to its smaller brother, with a single cylinder more conventional valve system. The Tmax has a double overhead cam system which is expensive to maintain. Cheers.
Do the cylinder heads bake your knees?
Good morning I have just purchased one of these if I plug in to charge with the plug what is supplied in seat will this charge battery and bike?
great video.. how has the bike/ exhaust held up?
soo buy the h4 or a new one?
I have that bike, that's the one the change the 600-R Era everyone just to asking me if the bike wasn't a 600 because it was too fast
Brilliant review! No better review/comparison/opinion - just brilliant!! My S1000RR is going to be delivered next week and I have been eating my head what exhaust to get - thanks to you - getting this one!! Will tag you in on my channel when I install mine. Thanks! Subscribed!
Stunning. Was my second bike to . New out of Cupar motorcycle in 2002 had the Telefonica , you’ve got me looking for another one . Enjoy she is gorgeous 👍👍🤩🤩🤩
Hey! Great video! Just bought this exact tip for my 2020 SDR. Does the servo delete come with the tip?
Love the bike what I want to buy I have ducati 748 which I love and will keep ....
I’ve been searching on youtube any content on the RS 660 ever since it’s launch, only now after 3 years I found your video, youtube is really crappy
do you ever get any pops on decel with this?
I watched this years ago before I bought my gen 2 1290 Superduke. I thought the same as you, before I rode it. I absolutely adore my KTM (which I traded a Tuono 1100 Factoty for), but when I tried this thing, it blew me away. It’s slightly more mental than the Superduke IMO. Im not saying it’s faster, or more capable in the corners. It’s just scarier, as it’s got almost the same amount of torque but it has ferocious mid range. Here I am now, trading my tricked out Ktm, for this exact bike that you are riding. Not because it’s cheaper, it scares the shit out of me and Is incredible fun. It’s just the bollocks!! And that’s what Im all about!!
no bike have more torque than sdr
Thanks for this wonderful ride! The best on youtube! Greetings from the Netherlands
I have a 2017 model, had it since new and really happy with it. I don't understand why people would complain about the fuel consumption, it is a commercial vehicle. Anyway I'm also ok with that. Had a fair bit of rain here lately and I've experienced more than the usual front wheel judder under acceleration. Did fit new tyres a year ago.
Thanks for sharing mate! This is a really cool vid and that helps new guys like me to make a more informed decision when spending money. Just one question, when editing you can merge the thow sounds right? i mean the sound inside your helmet and the sound of the zoom mic that is recording the exhaust? somehow find the sweet spot where you can have a "clean" voice and also a nice exhaust sound....best of both worlds :)
Great review, thank you for your time and efforts. One comment/question regarding comfort - i found the seat to be hard as a piece of plywood when i sat on it in the showroom - you didn't feel its too firm?
What could be better? err 6th gear and 35-bph more?
Are these lanes suitable for quads?
Hello. A few days ago I bought a new Honda Forza (2024) 750, of course with a dct transmission. Excellent bike, but it's unusual for me when I'm driving around town, how often it changes gears (in standard mode) and that "cluck" gearbox sound annoys me a bit. I guess I'll get used to it, I guess that's how it should be. 🤷♂️
Bought mine exactly a week ago from factory, rode 200km and its leaking oil from the engine, its been two days and the dealership is still checking it out, thanks bmw
Elenor is the mythical name lol
better front pads and braided lines shes a keeper.
an iconic bike which unfortunately is hard to find depending on where you live. I can't wait to be lucky enough to ride one, in the meantime I'm going for a "cheaper" Guzzi V7 stone special edition next Thursday. Ride In Peace 🙏
Appreciate it
Excellent review. It's kerb weight is a dream check my previous bike 2005 HD FXDCI aka Dyna Super Glide Custom. I'm getting he V7 stone special edition this coming Thursday. Finally as you mentioned getting older you get wiser. Ride In Peace 🙏
Thanks mate
I love this bike ! I’m on the search for a 2001 600 as well ! I have never bikes but the old bikes touch my soul.
Couldn’t agree more
Subscribed because of this bike !!!
Thanks pal
My first bike as well ! Amazing machine ! Clean one you got !!!
Lol... lead foot... I get 39-40 average. The door needing to be opened to reach the fuel cap is to deter fuel theft. A ctr. tie-down would been a chassis rail or something to fix to so you didn't rip the floor up with your ratchet straps. My personal 'gripe' is the stupid directional spot lights that come on when you turn either left or right 😂
Sorry it’s called pro-race
🙏
Nice exhaust mate but a bit expensive I’ve just bought a race pro endcan for £300 and sounds amazing professionally made to order
Nice one
Did the performance of the engine increase after installing the healtech exup sensor? I have ktm 1290 superduke Thanks
Not noticeably
@@mostlymotorbikes thanks
It seems like triples are the best compromise. Flat torque line and high rpm power...just with slightly less of each. I've heard they are also smooth, but I've only ridden a single cylinder supermoto, so I don't know.
Yes I’d agree with all that
The Aprilia would look better if it weren't for the graphics and colors. The Acid Gold option looks great. I love the look of the Honda, but I tend to prefer the faired look.
Horses for courses I guess. 🤷🏼♂️
That sounds pretty much perfect! Got a 2002 CBR 600F4i and a 2019 Tracer 900 GT that I want to record the exhaust along with my gopros, so will be getting the new Zoom H4N Pro Black Edition, an XLR to AUX adapter and a deadcat windshield because of this video. Thanks for the advice!
More than welcome e mate
lol 😂watched a few of your videos. Most were talking down the panagale and praising the SFV4. Then you go for Panagale. 🤷♂️ who were you trying to convince . Great bike though. Either are amazing. SF for me, can’t handle lying across a tank hanging by my wrists on a bike and I’m only 40!
Gotta scratch that itch sometimes. BMW S1K is far superior though
Food for thought . 🤔 im all over the place at the moment trying to decide, but, Sfv4 is top of list. I like that V4s are almost perfect blend of v2 pull and i4 top end. Also, the sound 🤤
Sir Bike sounds great on silp on, but make it Full System, it Sounds Incredible.
I will mate just couldn’t get a remap at the time
A really great review and a good watch. I’ve watched a lot of your vids over the last few years and still get my kicks from Sportsbikes. I love Panigale’s and RSV4’s but I’m so warming to these modern retro’s. Like you say it’s not all about 195 BHP and getting your knee down. I so need to ride one of these Nortons after watching your vid. What a gorgeous bike. Next year I’ll sure be looking at buying a modern retro. A Commando, Thruxton or even a Kwacker Z900RS. How about doing a vid reviewing those 3 for a retro road test? 👍🏻
Thanks mate. Much appreciated.
I have owned this 300cc MP3 for a few thousand kilometers now. You can forget 88 miles per gallon. Driving on different types of roads, my best fuel economy result is a total of 62 miles/gallon. That's slightly better than my city car. (50m/g) or the Honda ST1100 (51m/g) that I owned before buying the MP3. I'm an older man, 72 years old, so I don't drive around town like a crazy person. In city traffic, the MP3 is easier to handle than my car of ST and you can find many more free parking spaces than for a car. I don't use the foot brake, it's just an annoying thing that gets in the way of my right foot. I rode the ST1100 for 6 years as a commuter bike, summer and winter. I don't do that with the MP3 because it is much colder than riding the Honda. It could be a little better if I were to put up a high screen for a lot of money. I live in the Netherlands near Amsterdam, for your orientation.
Thanks for your comment 🙏
