Return to the violin after 5 months off
Просмотров 7 тыс.2 года назад
After 1 year of learning violin, I stopped for 5 months. What's it like going back to it after so much time away? Well... This was filmed back in fall/winter of 2021. Why did I stop playing? We all have our reasons...I was too busy, it's a frustrating instrument to learn (SO MANY SQUEAKS), etc. What matters is picking it back up and continuing. Keep at it, friends. We'll get there. Someday.

Hello has anyone heard of the gospel 😊, God bless
If you’re younger: BEWARE you probably will not start shifting and being comfortable with it till your 2nd-3rd year
Also the song you see her shifting on at first is the swan or le cygne one of my favorites😭ill probably post a cover sometime this year
I play violin I have it in my hands right now actually 🎻🎻
Yes, i was so surprised at how close the sound is to my ear... But I still fell in love with the sound it *can* make, so beautiful.
The bow hold 😣😣😣
The first week bow grip was diabolical 😭
OCTOBER 19TH IS MY BIRTHDAY……….
Great to see someone telling the truth for a change, well done excellent progress
I’ve been playing for a couple years now, you’re doing great for someone that picked up violin on their own choice as an adult and makes time for it
I love how you show that begginers dont start with the bow first they do pizcatto first
Grácias por tu video tengo 8 meses estudiando violín 😂 es un instrumento muy hermoso que requiere mucha práctica 😅.
Im playing violin for a year now. Well its true. Its very difficult and hard and im still not so good at it.
Cool! You're making good progress! By the way, you can look at mine, I also have a year of practice on the violin 🥰
Ode to joy
Not sure how you can play tunes plucking strings after 2-4 days. Ive been plucking for 2 weeks lol and its crap
I have been playing for 6 years already?! Damn time flies when you practice guys!! (I only play at school)
Where did you learn it from???
Where is the bow…
Legends who started with bowing 🗣️👇👇
I Love this!! I’m starting to learn Violin so this really encourages me! Does anyone have good advice for me?
As for playing a few string instruments in almost six years that was great progress keep going 👍👍👍
October 19 is my birthday, exact date mate, but 2020
1 day is better than me😭
That’s really good progress I’ve been playing for a little more then 5 years but I spent a long long time just doing pizzicato
Violinist for 5 years here! You’re definitely improving! Keep up the amazing work!
october 19s my bday :))
Umm youre holding your ancle wrong it has to be straight and curved
Yikes, the quality of sound is not good. Beginners will be turned off by this video.
Actually it gives them hope that it is normal to sound like that at first. 😅😉
Fun song! and your vocal capability - woah!
Thank you so much!
Belt it! 🥰
Thanks, John - It was a fun one!! :)
Seeing ur bow hold on 1 week actually disturbs me lol
I got my violin this year and I skipped pizzicato and was started bowing since the first day and tbh it sounded really good(I watched violin lessons even before I had a violin😅) It’s been 6 months since I got my violin and I am already able to play Vivaldi summer, spring, fur elise and some few songs and now I am currently learning sasagayo. I only practice 30 minutes a day, put dedication in it and you will surely get better I ALSO FINALLY MASTERED VIBRATO🎉
Two set
I didn’t know u were supposed to start like that 😭 I got my violin on Christmas and immediately started using the bow 💀💀💀
For a beginner I’m suprised you didn’t have finger markers cause when I started I could not get my fingers in tune but now I do t use them
I have been playing for 6 years 🤍🩷🩵
Pintocato the strings brings back memories
ah, ode to joy. a classic on the violin.
You obviously have a great ear, the issue with adult students, especially one who is already a musician, is that they want to play advanced music too soon. First develope a good sound production and take it from there. Open strings my dear and scales for 75% of your practice time.
Your intonation is great and the left hand is naturally well settled. However, I think that now it's time to work on the bowing conduction. You play with little bow, the right arm and wristle and fingers are stiff, and therefore the quality of the sound is poor. I suggest practicing scales with all the bow lenght, from frog to tip, working on the correct movements of all the articulation of the right arm (obviously with the help of a teacher) in order to achieve smooth and powerful tone. Then you will practice on the upper and lower half, bow strikes and so on. You spent the last months working on the speed and reading new tunes, but if you don't fix the quality of the sound the process will become more and more difficult and frustrating. Good job, keep working!
Good job girl
I've been playing for about 9 months and I'm convinced anyone who plays violin must enjoy self-loathing.
1 week and already fourth finger wow!
I started playing Violin when I was in 5th grade and I am now in 8th grade and still not have learned all the strings 😂😂
WHAT
Congratulations on your progress!!
a-are you supposed to use a bow?? I’m a beginner violinist.. how do you play a song .(
At the 7:09 mark, Day 27 there are two distinct orbs of light above you
they're called dust xD!
I simply love you Continue with your violin journey
In the 6 month your haircut is amazing! ❤
Omg what's on your violin?? I thought of inventing what I called the "bow bumpers" because my students have trouble keeping their bow straight but I didn't know they already exist
