    It sounds really good on paper or when you're reading about it...but when you're in the class it's a lot different. Most primary teachers aren't teaching a single subject, they're teaching all of the subjects, and having such a work load to basically monitor- include- and teach a group of 30 or more students while still keeping their individual needs in mind is overwhelming at best. A student who's struggling in Math may do well in English but not so well in Science because of all the memorization. I'm all for inclusion (I have a student with Downs Syndrome in my first grade class) but not all teachers have the kind of support that they need to make this a reality. Schools with good funding aren't going to struggle as much as schools without the funding and support that we need in class
