One of the things EA Redwood Shores experimented with after the game came out (for Casino Royale?) which is pretty neat. Although I have the same thoughts about it like I do the cut manual aiming in Everything or Nothing where it just makes you really slow in a game that asks you to be pretty fast. Luckily this game is lightyears easier than EoN so it's still feasible even on 00 Agent.

So, i've mostly avoided footage of Sonic X Shadow Gen ,at the current time (mid sept 2024) - but I did see the footage of Shadow using it against Metal Overlord from Shadow Generations and Metal Overlord moving thru it- though Shadow still beats him up. This means the first serious Chaos Control fight would be that, rather than Super Shadow vs Devil Doom (tho there's also Sonic and Shadow's "For True Story" fight What SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED HERE? Back in Heroes, Super Sonic should have said something like "But are you good at it Tho?" and then used CC and just beatdown Metal Overlord while Knux and Tails can't believe it, lol. Since by this point, Super Sonic had a decent handle on it. /We need people to throw around their real power more, everyone gingerly tips around Chaos Control.

@@AccelerateHedge Based on the fight you’ll notice that although shadow inevitably damages metal, he is still able to move during chaos control as he (or whatever metal sonic’s pronouns are) also knows how to perform the technique like shadow without a chaos emerald. Since having chaos emeralds is not necessary to perform chaos control, we can however deduce that chaos emeralds can greatly enhance it and other chaos abilities, take for instance at the end of SA2 where Super sonic and shadow are able to reposition the entire space colony ark, Shadow being able to do the same thing with the black comet, and helplessly overpowering devil doom with chaos control even though it is arguable that black doom is more skilled at using the technique and this should have been increased in his enhanced state. And although not canon shadow’s chaos spears appeared to be much stronger in super form in both the solaris fight (and also the devil doom fight which is canon). Sonic, may be new to chaos control but he was able to do chaos control with a fake emerald, and appeared to have bested shadow (or at least stand toe to toe with him) with the technique since he was also victorious in stopping the eclipse canon after the fight with shadow, thus the chaos emeralds should have also enhanced his chaos control and resistance to it.

Idk why everyone was surprised. Sonic did this 2 years after this game came out with a fake Chaos Emerald and proceeded to do it again during Shadow boss fight and again when Super vs. Bioliz. Metal Sonic in this game literally said, "ALL LIFE FORM DATA, SUCESSFULLY COPIED."
its the fact that he is using it without a chaos emerald somehow channeling chaos energy and also the only way to see this interaction is well u kinda have to be really bad at this fight and wait it out for a while i did this fight a lot never saw it but when my cousin did it took him almost 10 mins and i saw it i was like wtf was that.

I remember seeing this for the first time as a kid and it blew my mind because I was only used to Shadow using Chaos Control. And there being a countdown also blow my mind because of the time freeze in multiplayer.

I never expected in my whole life that somebody playing this would actually have the energy to run all the way down the entire road In the convoy mission😂 and it’s weird that the developers just left some guy that looks kinda like 006 with a beret on with no backup around him. It makes absolute no sense and it’s almost like as if they did it on accident and were like “whoops, oh well nobody will probably run all the way over to this point and see him standing there MENACINGLY.”.

It would be cool to see that ability being used very often along with the chaos control. It would be very OP but it could have a super hard mode Boss fight where metal sonic abuses these abilities.

How that happened? I remember some person who made a retrospective of the game recorded a footage where the T-X got sinked in the middle of the road, it was an odd glitch I saw, does this has something to do about being too close to her?
