We stayed in July 2023. It was a great spot! It had been wet, and a couple of sites with power were inaccessible. A bit of gravel would help.

Stayed 9 days once 42c everyday. Totally droughted. Nothing like that when you was there. It was before the new loos. You could go down the creek and get wood back then. I was there early last year all different. The little craft shop and museum is cool. Cheers Pete

It’s very near the main road but at least the speed limit is only 60kph but it can be a bit busy and therefore noisy

One thing you didn’t cover is access and peak traffic times? When is rush hour in the area?

We enjoyed Wyandra donation camp in 2023, caravan park was packed! Donation camp is great for self-contained vans with plenty of open space for solar. Amenities look better compared to when we visited.

Gunning is s great little town, they've also got a free EV charging point in town too. I stayed here but I'll stay at the Showgrounds next time, I got too chewed up by mozzies by the creek.
