i remember when nintendo switch kinda first came out i think they were like 3 hundred dollars but to buy the parts piece byb piece it was around 200.i didnt do it i had a more lucritive hustle.

What screws do you use for the bottom of it?
Cause my bottom screen is messed up it’s cracked
I didn’t replace the screws I used the same screws that I took out
Actually, you can also remove this little copper square (commonly called copper shim) to reveal more thermal paste and the CPU below it. You'll want to replace that too, at least as well as you can. You can remove the entire metal shield thing to get better access, but it's more of a pryjob and I never did it.
Oh I didn’t know you can remove the copper square I just thought you can remove the whole metal shield thing but I thought that was gonna be too much, I’ll give it all a try next time. Thanks for watching🙏🙏

Also always provide stats of temp difference from before and after... even if no change otherwise whole video kinda moot

its not conductive so applying too much isnt a huge issue just creates a mess to clean up for the next time

Make sure to take it step by step, and be mindful of those ribbons. In my experience repairing laptops and DSs, they are especially a pain, and fragile

Yeah it took be me about 4 hours all together to do this. Just had to be really patient, soon gonna do a screen replacement on a 2ds xl so that’s probably even worse

Capacitors come in different sizes. You might have the correct value but you need it in the correct size.
