Welcome to my channel dedicated to wildlife photography after dark, where the secrets of nocturnal creatures are unveiled through the lens of a thermal camera.
A few words about thermal cameras:
Images from thermal cameras can sometimes lack detail due to inherent limitations in thermal imaging technology. Unlike traditional cameras that capture visible light, thermal cameras rely on infrared radiation emitted by objects. The resulting images are grayscale representations of temperature differences rather than detailed visual scenes. Several factors contribute to the reduced detail:
Resolution: Thermal cameras typically have lower resolution compared to optical cameras, resulting in less fine detail.
Environmental conditions: Weather, smoke, and atmospheric conditions can affect image quality, reducing the clarity of thermal imagery.
Distance: At longer distances, thermal imaging may struggle to provide intricate details as the thermal radiation spreads and loses granularity.

Wolves do not eat humans
there was a jogger in canada hunted by a pack and eaten. it started out like this, but the wolf began stalking as she turned around, she started to run, and before she knew it 2 more wolves were following the chase hidden in the shrub only to cut her off. they are highly strategic hunters.
The thing to realize is they do not hunt or roam alone If you see one, check your 6.
You're absolutely correct; keeping an eye on the surroundings is a wise choice. This juvenile wolf is part of an eight-wolf family unit. Upon further investigation of the nearby neighborhood, I discovered additional tracks. Nevertheless, over the past two years, I've had numerous encounters with wild wolves, and thus far, they have quickly become scared as soon as they detected my presence.

This is one of the last things I'd want to see while I was out at night. Sure looks hungry.
It was the first time I encountering a wild wolf up close, it was truly an exhilarating experience :-)
