@ I don’t know.. all my games are either on the PS5 Pros internal SSD or on the SSD in the additional SSD slot. I assume it is all about the PS5 Pros SSD itself. In this case the additional raw power makes the game run more fluid

Yeah, but it is still the 8K mode which internally renders at an upscaled 6K resolution and then is downsampled. And the mode is officially called 8K Mode. What would be your suggestion? Enough if I add „8K Mode“? On 4K Screen? S95C is broadly known as a 4K screen.

That’s a big improvement over base PS5!

All PS5s did receive an optimisation patch, but the PS5 uses PSSR on Quality and Balanced Mode so the picture is much sharper on the Pro in these modes!

@@dekumight7749this is direct capture from the PS5 Pro, not directly filmed from the TV in this case. You can check my other videos where you can see the S95C. I‘m not sure but I don’t think that the TV plays a role for direct capture. Nevertheless, both TVs are great 😊 Congrats on your C4!

Downloading the trial right now to try out the 120hz balanced mode on the Pro. Game might finally be good on the PS5!

⁠@@DefiantStyleit’s the 40 FPS mode in a 120hz container, feels smooth enough and looks better than on base PS5. If you have an VRR display, you should get the best out of it. Let me know what you think. I got the trial as well. Enjoy!

@V-Techlive you just need 120hz not vrr because the game engine just outputs the same frame 3 times in a row so 40x3 = a perfect smooth 120hz. That’s how 24p movie modes work to eliminate judder if the content and TV supports it because movies run at 24fps and 120 is dividable by 24. I’ll give you my honest opinion!

@V-Techlive ok so I spent some time with it and I’m getting a lot of PSSR noise and some artifacting. The performance is good but if they had a PSSR toggle I’d probably turn it off and play it at a lower res. Might be one of those games where the PS5 version is currently better.

@@DefiantStyle oh really, for me the picture looks better in motion than the PS5 Version. It is more stable in motion and slightly sharper. Lucky me, I haven’t noticed the other flaws 🙈 2 hr trial is over.. I am pretty bad at souls like games.. stuck at the big white wolf 😄

It contains 2 25€ PSN Codes, Codes for avatars, puzzle and a Code for joining a competitin to ein Prozes Like a PS5 Slim. According to PlayStation, codes are in most cases only valid in one country. It seems Like it is Limited to Germany. So keep that in mind.

According to digital foundry, the PS5Pro version runs at 1200-1440p reconstructed to 4K with ray tracing in 60fps mode. I saw screenshots from this mode and the Image quality looked excelent. There's also 6K 30fps mode with RT. You need a high end PC to get similar results. On my $2500 PC (7800X3D, 4080S) I need to use 4K FSRQuality to get locked 60fps with Ray Tracing. PS5P offers similar experience for just $700.

@@V-Techlive They have not released full video analysis, but did pixel counting in their latest DF Direct available on Patreon. You have to pay $5 to view this video or wait a few days before it will be available to everyone. 1296p-1440p reconstructed to 4K via TAAU (not PSSR) in the 60fps mode. Native 4K in the 30fps mode, could be higher but they don’t have capture equipment for that. 40fps mode wasn’t looked at all.

@@cxmbooo Unfortunately not, it is 4K. The game still renders internally up to 6K and downsamples it to 4K to provide better image quality on 4K screens. Full 8K resolution only on 8K screens.

The most important thing is that you have a TV that supports VRR, otherwise you‘ll be stuck with 30fps in fidelity mode. If that’s the case, try out fidelity mode! As I mentioned in the description and in one of the comments, there still seem to be dips into the 50fps range. If you want even more fluidity you can go with the Performance mode which aims at 120fps.

Yes, you are right. The PS5 Pro runs the game the same way the PS5 or the PS4 Pro does, as no further patches have been released to take any advantage of the latest consoles. Also the Enhance Image Quality function of the Pro doesn’t seem to apply in this game or the difference is so small that I can’t tell the difference.
