I wanted to love the expansion but Solo play is completely broken. Anyone reading this DO NOT BUY if you intend on playing mostly solo play. On normal mode I have 100% loss rate and am getting steam rolled.
Have you tried easy mode by including the 10 easy mode cards and excluding the hard and extreme difficulty cards? We included 4 difficulty levels in order to give everyone the opportunity to play at their preferred challenge level.
Thanks, have played the game now, solo and with two, three and four players. But i didnt know that you could use the blessing to draw a card
Thanks for playing! You generally cannot use a blessing to draw a card. I may have made a mistake in the video if I did that, but I don't remember.
I see you sometimes discard the three cards before buying, I cant find any reference in the rules!?
Unless there is a mistake in the video, that must be us paying for the cards we're buying by discarding income cards.

Does Spartacus : a- literally take the text from someone’s card, including any reference to that characters name, literally, or b: take the text as ability, but replace the name with Spartacus? A- means that Spartacus cannot effectively use many character abilities text if taken literally. , B means he can use anyone abilities as if they are his own.

Thank you! When a gladiator that you bring in with Tetraites leaves an arena (if it is defeated or at the end of the battle, or otherwise) it goes into your player discard pile.

Thank you! When we created Cybersaur Excursions, we asked how we could make it the best AI possible, but we never asked whether we should make such a capable AI.
Good luck with everything Alex. I like your ambition, your passion. and your vision. Nevertheless, May you kindly share how does this deck building is different than any other deck building? What does it bring to the table that no other deck-building already does? And.. I'm a bit hesitate but I'll ask it anyway... "Deck building" as a mechanic aside - What does your game bring to the table that no other game does? I also love the gladiators theme a lot so for me this game is already unique.. BUT.. theme alone it is not enough for me deciding to invest my time in a board game.

Does the fortitude tactic only apply for one arena as I think or could it apply to both?
It only applies to one arena. In general, this applies to all cards.
this game could do with a way to track Bloodlust as gladiators enter the arenas (eg a dial that can sit near the boast deck). Having to recount the BL level over and over is unneccesary admin overhead
Spindown d20 for Magic the Gathering might work?

Yes! You can use as many reactions as you want during a reaction window.

Great game guys, my Kickstarter arrived a day or so ago, and I am looking forward to my first game tomorrow evening. Can't wait, and this play through truly shows the 'cut & thrust' of the game. Great job Alex.

Played for the first time after watching this and reading the rulebook. Love it but the way Jared snaps the cards down does things inside of me lol
Could you both start throwing down Fury tactic cards to fight for initiative? Since they can be played before battle turns?

Brilliant solo. Tried it last night for a bit and really mimics a second player fantastic. The only thing that I would say is having a larger player aid for all the symbols with some text to just make it a quick and smooth playthrough for me. I never played For Glory so many times I stalled on the solo aid which comes in the box. Alex, is there a printable version of the solo aid sheet where I might be able to add some reminder text

Thanks for the playthrough. I just recieved the game so after reading the rulebook the playthrough helps understanding the flow of the game. I find the background music disturbing. Please don't use background music or - noise.

Ave Alex! I'm just learning the rules as a tyro, but at 59:50 shouldn't your rudiarius go back into your discard pile? Could he be used, after a shuffle, in the other arena (if it came to that)? Vale!
Lol I plead temporary insanity. I don't know why I put Rudiarius into the supply discard pile! He should actually stay in the fleeting glory arena until the end of the arena phase, and at the end of the arena phase he would go back into my discard pile to be played again next round (if there were to be a next round). Good catch!
Unfortunately it is very very difficult to see/read the cards. It’s blurry even on 1080p and there is massive glare

Can Veles use his reaction ability in machinations? Both players may use any number of reactions with a triggering effect that matches the triggering effect that opened the reaction wondow” please clarify. Reactions have to literally match like same card?
1. Veles can use his ability during Machinations. 2. Just the triggering effect has to match. So when damage is assigned, only reactions with the triggering effect, "when damage is assigned" can be used.

I believe the new Kickstarter will add a 3/4 player option, new content, and international friendly shipping
