Why does it need to be replaced every 2 years? How far off are the readings typically after 2, 3 and 5 uears? Air things doesn’t have to calibrated so frequently.

when you lay the cube flat on a flat surface, wouldnt the surface be blocking the air holes ? I dont get how the air gets in if its completely blocked?

I'm actually pretty stunned how much research I'm trying to do about this Echo. Blue and the numbers don't mean anything to you if there's no reference point to what the numbers mean. I've got the brochure in my lap. And I've got the unit sitting on a console. And I have no idea what it does ?

Why did they do an MRI? I thought only CT was used for lung cancer? What kind of MRI?

You need a long term test (preferably 12 months or more) to get an idea of your exposure. Radon levels could be 2.7 one month and then 15 the next. Also, there is no safe level of radon, it’s difficult to get things much lower than 1.0 though. Also, opening windows should only be a temporary solution, get mitigation asap.

I have 3 radon systems in my home now. It's winter and levels are rising again. I've had 2 companies try to mitigate the radon but No one seems to be able to fix this.. what do i do now.

I appreciated the shout out. Jesse really is an awesome teacher. A great partner in our business. We have gone to using our EcoTrackers on every job. Helped us solve the headaches, and reduced our call-backs. We now leave every job confident as we have watched the levels drop all day.

I attended Jesse's 3-day hands-on class in Minnesota. The EcoTracker was an integral part of the mitigation process. After mitigation was initially complete we placed the EcoTrackers around the house and found one location was still a bit high. Jesse determined we needed to add another suction point under the porch slab. This lowered the radon level in that location to approximately 0.5 pCi/L from mid 2 pCi/L. Without the EcoTrackers, we wouldn't have known that was still a hotspot. I'm purchasing the EcoTracker kit now. These are a must for the serious professional radon mitigator.
