It’s a scam! Last year in july, our boyscout group wanted to do an coastering activity. We had to do the payment upfront. We transferred the money, but we are Dutch, so the money took a couple of days. On the day of our activity, the organisation claimed to have had no money, so the activity could not proceed. We called and emailed about the money multiple times. Our youth members had earned this money themselves. They claimed the money could not be transferred to a Dutch bank account. We emailed and offered that the money could be transferred to a friend in Engeland or offered to pay the fee for the international transfer. The organisation didn’t replied on our emails at this point. We contacted a lawyer and she send an email with a couple of options and a deadline. The organisation didn’t even replied that the got the email. If this isn’t solved our group can’t go on a camp this year. This is our last resort. Scouting Ginneken

aww he's beautiful and cute, I just moved to Germany and they have the white and black magpies. How did you come about having one as a pet?

Im not english so I am not sure what you meant, but if you meant how to get one, I usually go find a magpies nest and then climb up to it and snatch one when their little, and theyll become tame really quickly.

And there is no reason such "psychopaths" shouldn't be full fledged members of the human race. Sounds like you believe in the naive idea that everything, especially nature, should be peaches and cream and candy and rainbows.

According to wikipedia on self-awareness: Thus far, there is evidence that bottlenose dolphins, some apes,[13] and elephants may have the capacity to be self-aware.[14] Recent studies from the Goethe University Frankfurt show that magpies may also possess self-awareness.[13] Common speculation suggests that some other animals may be self-aware.[15]

Stupid people come up with all kinds of reasons to justify their cowardly 'habit' of killing birds. Potential psychopaths who enjoy shooting living beings.

Awesome. I knew a guy who found a black magpie when it was pretty young. It got hurt, probably by a cat. He took it in and cared for it, but the bird left when it was well. he lived adjacent to the park where he found the bird, and it still swings by to check up every now and then. It doesn't get close anymore though - he's learned that lesson :)

as they say at the end of the promo vid: is there a price to pay? - there is always a price to pay when unspoilt coastlines are exploited for money. very sad.
