I remember watching this all those years ago and being absolutely captivated at the engineering and insanity that went into something like this. And now, many years later down the line, seeing this engine being disassembled and explained over on Rob's channel is surreal. You've said it yourself Tyson, this is an art piece. I just want to clarify that I re-found you through Rob Dahm, however I did see this video in the year it came out and I still believe it is as immaculate as it was the first time I saw it. I have had the pleasure of working alongside Matasaburo Maeda's own son, Ikuo Maeda who were the creators of the RX series for Mazda. Alongside the pleasure of working with Ikuo, I had shown him this video as a demonstration on just how far this technology can and will go. Him and I had both agreed that this will be a crucial engine to the advancement of the internal combustion engine's future, especially in it's PTW ratio.
