Here is a summary of what they said about their relationship: They said that they went on a few more dates and also sent sweet messages to each other after the show but didn't end up as a couple. CM's view: Changmin said he still had feelings for JH after the show and also considered a relationship with him. But because of his restaurant he was so busy that he didn't have time for dating and it also made him realize, that he might not be able to date at all while having to take care of his restaurant. Still, he was grateful for JH that he put in so much effort. JH's view: Jeonghyun said that it was always him reaching out first and asking CM to meet, although that is not his usual style, CM never asked for a date first. It made him feel like CM didn't like him and although JH said he could have continued putting in the effort, he didn't really see the point because CM didn't seem to replicate his feelings. So he stopped taking the initiative and after that they barely stayed in touch. JH also said that he truly still has feelings for CM. When JH said "Won't there always be a possibility?" CM replied "Are you keeping the possibility open?" to which JH then said "No? Was it only me who was serious all the time, even now?" 23:34 Overall they said, the reason it didn't work out was probably communication. Now, the following part is my personal opinion. I agree that the biggest problem was probably communication. As much as I was rooting for them, you could already feel it during the show. Let me give you three examples: 1. The pottery date was full of misunderstandings. JH was hurt because a) while he was putting effort in making a special cup for CM, CM didn't seem interested in the date at all b) CM said he didn't like useless stuff but when they got home he seemed jealous over the mood lamp that the others made c) CM said he was thinking about who to pick for the date but because he was too hesitant he ended up with JH, which made JH feel like he was just "leftover" and CM didn't want to go on a date with him. Later on however, CM clarified that a) he wasn't interested in the pottery but just wanted to talk to JH b) thought the mood lamp was nice because you could immediately take it home instead of having to wait four weeks for the pottery c) wanted to go on a date with JH anyway. 2. When CM won the racing and picked Hyukjun as his roommate. A normal person would know that this would hurt the other person, who has feelings for you no? But he just left JH in confusion and didn't bother to explain it to him until JH asked himself for his reason. Actually, it was sweet that CM said he chose the 2 person room so that JH could have a single room like he wanted, but you should TELL the person the reason for your actions, no one can read what you are thinking. 3. After CM went on the "date" with Hyukjun and came back, he didn't notice that JH was in a bad mood and unhappy, that CM went out with another guy. In the end, JH had to ask first again for the reason behind their meeting. For me, seeing JH head over heels for CM was really cute but I think he would have been unhappy if they had stayed together. JH is the one with stronger feelings and that person always gets hurt more. Also, he is very expressive about his feelings and also needs the confirmation and affection from the other person, whereas CM keeps his thoughts to himself and doesn't really express his feelings or even his thought process, which leads to a lot of misunderstandings. I also found this video sad to watch, because you can tell that JH still has feelings and he even said it himself multiple times. I just wish he finds someone who will truly cherish him and I also hope CM learns to be more open about his feelings, otherwise he will keep hurting the people around him.
