@@user-ex9dx7gt4o you may be able to grow indoors if you have a window with bright light. My mom lives in Montana and is able to grow some cacti and euphorbias by one of her windows. Just a thought. Thanks for watching.

@mickidonahue4038 well you're on to something. That's a start. There's an independent nursery in Carmel Valley I'm planning on visiting soon. I'll be asking advice on grasses. Also, I'm interested in California natives too and need to research that. Just because it's native doesn't mean it won't be a nuisance. So, I'm very cautious on grasses now. Thanks for the feedback.

@mickidonahue4038 I had that in mind, too. It got burned. I feel for you. It is a real pain. I still get it sprouting, and as soon as I see it, I pull it and store it in a bucket until the next burn day.
