I felt severe depression after watching this anime. I know it's just a fictional work, but anime has the power to make you deeply connect with the characters and experience their emotions. The ending was painful for me, and whenever I think about it, I feel a sting in my heart. I wish I had never watched it in the first place. They could have offered a different ending, and perhaps that would have increased the likelihood of a second season being released. But now, I believe that many who watched and were affected by this anime may not want to watch a second part or even rewatch it at all.

Alot of people are sad that tasumi died in the anime but youll be relieved to hear that the anime isnt the canon timeline the true ending is in the manga and tasumi and mine are still alive in it I honestly really want the anime to continue either 1. Reboot the whole thing just with the same story as the manga 2.Continue with season 2 and have akame find a resurrection arms either that or an imperial arms that can revert time to redo the entire fight with the emperor except go on more training arcs

I really dislike this ending, Esdeath's character up until this moment was very accurate, she's a monster, evil and cruel. And, she's a pedophile, she kidnapped a teenage boy and sexually abused him, and here instead of in the manga were Esdeath dies alone she finally captures him and destroys herself with him.

They deserve it cause they so s#x end thins (tell me if i didnt understand)

Actually a pretty good scene, shame it had to be attached to a complete derailment.

Something that people don't realize is that this was also the first time Esdeath was hypocritical of her beliefs. Esdeath loves to trample on the weak and is a firm believer of the concept that the strong will live and the weak will die. When Esdesth was finally defeated for the first time, she finally knew what it feels to be weak - despite being outsmarted by Akame, a slightly weaker fighter. Esdeath then felt that she finally had a place with Tatsumi again, thus they died together weak but still retaining the love that she had.

In honesty, I think this scene gave me a better level of satisfaction compared to the manga.

I don't think akame can defeat esdeath it just don't make sense
