I agree about "Casualty", it sounds more like a forced crowd pleaser, other than that song I enjoyed pretty much the whole album.

I love seeing almost everyone having a different take on all songs and nobody's top 10 will probably look the same <3 Mine after hearing the album like 10x~ (also Cut The Bridge keeps growing on me since i can't sit still whenever I hear it xD I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being on my #2 or #3 tbh : 1. This album is going to do really well. Fear not how Emily and the album will do. It won't fail. They'll be just fine. Of course, no matter what Emily does or how great a singer she is, there will always be people who won't give her a chance because she isn't Chester. That's fine. They have the old albums to be stuck in. Chester was amazing but so is Emily. Chester alone was not Linkin Park. Linkin Park was a band. Nobody would even know who Chester was had Mike not brought him into the band. Mike was always the brainchild of the band. Comparing Emily to Chester will always be a natural thing to do but this is a new chapter for the band. People are only doing themselves a disservice by focusing on comparisons, looking for reasons not to accept Emily as the new way forward. But again, people are entitled to however they process and handle things. Linkin Park is going to get a whole new set of fans from this new era. They'll be fine.

I think it is an average to good album overall. I do think it is missing the emotion. It is a collection of songs, but I have come to expect to feel something from the songs of LP, at the moment, I don't feel it.... maybe I still miss Chester? But it is an ok album, apart from a couple of tracks, which I find skippable. I listened to loads of DEAD SARA and she can use her voice far better than in these tracks. As I say, there is little to no emotion, which is or was the heartbeat of LP, now sadly gone. 5/10

You definitely should watch the movie. I´m usually not a big fan of musicals, but Sweeney Todd is just something different. It´s very dark and Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are literally acting the hell out of it😂. I dicovered the band because of their Sweeney Todd themed EP. Now I´m a fan of their music and everything 😄!
