Listening to this song makes me realize just how stunning the Trilogy was. The older I get the more you appreciate everything that makes a movie truly great and the score is perhaps one of the most important parts.

Thinking about the story of Elrond and Celebrian while listening to this song makes me cry. The truth is that Arwen and Aragorn's relationship was wonderful but tragic. Everything Elrond predicted came true. And his wife Celebrian, after being tortured in the dungeons of Morgoth could no longer live in middle earth and went to the undying lands to await her family's return. Elrond then had to go back to the undying lands and inform his wife that she would never see her daughter again.

When I hear this song, it automatically reminds me of the tear-jerking scene where Elrond speaks to his beloved daughter, which in turn reminds me of how amazon dared to soil the legacy that Peter Jackson created by spewing out this utter plagiarized trash that has absolutely nothing going for it, which just gets me angry but also sad to see what an empty mindset the young generation is being conditioned into, which in turn brings me back to the realization that Jesus is coming soon to end this system of things once and for all, which fills me with hope and joy. This song reflects many of those feelings... loss, sadness, hopelessness, faith, hope, joy.
