Hi RSF- Thanks for posting! Definitely Six Flags Over Georgia- I am very familiar with both parks, having worked at both. At 0:14- White columns in entry plaza at SFOG in the early years At 1:44- Bouncy suspension bridge located in the Spanish Section of SFOG in the early years.

Wow. This was my adolescent years! On all of our birthdays, my best friends and I would be dropped off at the front gate with admission and $25 to spend, and were picked back up at midnight! An entire day of fun! I loved that super slide on the Oil Derrick.

What year was this song written and recorded? I wonder if Bobby Harden's sisters are the female accompaniment vocals. The Harden Trio (Bobby and his two sisters, Robbie & Arlene) were from Arkansas. They recorded a lot of country music and were a part of the Louisiana Hayride, the Ozark Jubilee and the Grand Ole Opry in the 1960's.

Thank you for sharing. Six Flags was an amazing place when I was a kid and at night it was almost magical. The smell of the creosote rail road ties, the water and the food is something you can't forget. Me, my brothers and friends from the old neighborhood spent many a fun day and night at Six Flags in the 1970s.

Six Flags during the day, Rangers game at night and pizza at Campisi's Egyptian afterwards, a perfect day in Dallas in the 70's.
