Interesting to note...a great champion like Seve completely yanked one in the water on 15...and another champion Greg Norman blew a shot 50 yards to the right of the green on 18 with a 7 iron... Jack 🐐

This is still, for me, the most hair-raising and riveting performance I’ve ever witnessed in all of sports history. As I sat on my couch as a young man, I had counted Nicklaus out as he turned the corner to tee off on 10, and then suddenly he got that look of inevitability on his face, and the putts started dropping. Still gives me chills watching these reruns With his 18 major wins and an astonishing 19 runner ups, there can be no argument about who is the GOAT of golf.

Sunday. April 13, 1986. Having never played golf or swung a golf club. I watched a few minutes of this tournament on tv, not knowing what it was or who I was watching and thought, “I’ll try that.” and went to a driving range to hit some balls. They gave me a club to use and I paid for the basket of balls and began my journey to addiction… Missed some, skyed some, topped a few but then came that one swing and I struck the ball so purely it flew straight out in front of me as pretty as you please and the addiction process was complete. I’ve never fully recovered… Thanks Jack. ❤

Ahh yes, 1986, the year Jack won his 6th Masters and final Major, and at 25 years old I decided I wanted to play a game of golf and what a great decision it was and now it's 2024 and 38 years later and a little older too at 62, I'll be teeing it up at 7:30 am tomorrow with the fellas.
