Lovely vlog👏🏾 , I'm considering this place . So with nsfas the 2000 refundable deposit I saw on their website do you pay it before settling in or you can pay it while you've already moved in?

So on Horizon Height do I have to pay for booking fee even if i'm an NSFAS accredited?
On their website it says there’s no booking fee for UJ NSFAS ❤️.
Okay I hear u but when I apply it says I have pay R1 500 for booking fees, and next year I'll be doing first year at UJ. I can show you a screenshot if I want to see
@ if that’s the case they might want you to pay the booking fee, but try to call them first for clarity before making any payments.

Transportation was the biggest con with living on an off campus residence. I’d highly recommend living on an off-campus res that is close to school and within a walkable distance🥹. Traveling is very tiring!

I'm considering moving here for 2025 getting a single room, would you recommend ?
I would recommend because you will never experience load shedding because of their 24/hr electricity supply and it’s also closer to school. But keep in mind that every res has its pros and cons and it’s not always rosy, you just have to choose your own struggle ❤️.

I heard Sunday is the best day, do you agree? 3. What time did you arrive and how many hours did you stay? 4. How much should a person budget ? Thank you!
@@UbuntuNamuhla I’m glad you enjoyed this vlog. 1. I think you can bring your own alcohol (not sure if bottles are allowed as I’ve always seen cans only) 2. Most times Sunday’s are the best days although even Saturday’s are also fun just depends on which weekend it is. 3. I don’t remember clearly the time we arrived but it was probably around 2 then we left around 8 4. R100 minimum for the meat should be enough for one person I hope this answers all your questions and all your best with your visit to mai mai, hope you have a great time as well !❤️💃
