stark varg custom street legal kit with battery

this is a kit I made for a customer designed for his stark varg! check out out! it has to have a separate battery for the light system due to the design of the varg
Battery packs are ready! Look for them on the website this Saturday!
Просмотров 233Месяц назад
The pack should last about two hours on a full charge and will be plug and play if purchased with the kits, if purchased separately you will need to connect power and ground, that's it. the packs are still in development but I'm happy with the outcome so far, obviously like anything else I make if you buy one and ever have issues with it I'll take care of you! if you want to be among the first ...

battery pack rechargeable with USB C for my street legal kits!

the idea is to have a battery pack that you can charge without taking any body pieces off the bike that lasts for about an hour total and have another option that lasts twice as long! this is v1! most likely will be on v6 by the time I sell them!

nice, but is it all connected together so i can just connect the red and black wire to a battery or how does it work?
@@jjustic you need to install it piece by piece but it's super easy to connect together and every connector can only go to one other connector
@@Dirtscootdesigns okay thank you i will probably buy but i need to wait a year for my license so if it will be still available i am your customer😅👌
Broooooo witch battery did you have ???? Loooks awesome can you tell me pls I want to do this to my motorcycle
Does the fan present at one side only? How about left side?
@@jemrezeejemrezee9451 yep just the one side but since they are connected it basically cools both
@@Dirtscootdesigns ok ok theks does 2024 wr450f come without fan or?
@@jemrezeejemrezee9451 yes I believe it does
@@Dirtscootdesigns how much the new one?
Hi there im building something similar and couldnt figure out how iam going to power the motherboard can plz tell me how can i power my mother board entirely on a battery pack which sort of conveter and all other type of stuff i need to make it happen ...
@@onlygaming8106 you will need a pico PSU and a DC to DC step down converter if you plan on using a 4s battery set up, also check my later videos
@@Dirtscootdesigns how I am going to connect pico PSU and step down converter...in which sequence. Im planning to use a 90 watt hr laptop battery since my build draw very little power ..is going to work with laptop battery?? And what about BMS and all that charging stuff...
@@Dirtscootdesignswould a 200w pico psu be enough for my build and what sort of step down DC convertor do I need .. ?? I am using i3 12100 with 75 tdp GPU
@@onlygaming8106 they are cheap id just buy one and try it out, my setup draws 130 watts max and I use a jbd bms to control everything and also I believe my other video show the pack configuration
@@Dirtscootdesignsthank you for help it really helped me.. I think 200w psu would be enough as my setup draw 150w max under full load also I am going to under volt my setup to minimize power draw... can you provide link for the configuration video ....
I was thinking of this too
Nice work man, i think id put an inline fuse on the positive from the battery jic, but probably never an issue.
@@RDEnduro that is already fused stock
What up bro, just bought a kit from ya. Can’t wait for it to come in.
@@WROHRC I saw your order! I'll be working on it along with 4 other orders from this week, tomorrow and Thursday I should have them finished up!
🔥🔥🔥
Was waiting for this before I grab your kit. Will be waiting till you think it’s safe to use. Keep it up buddy. I’d much rather give an enthusiast like you my money for a slick kit like this than the other companies who’s quality and control SUCKS.
This kit is awesome man. Do you have a way to make the brake light work when using the rear brake?
@@verza3512 there is an option for that on my website under Addons on the product page 👍👍

I have a tusk kit and can’t get the e blaze powered from splicing into the on off switch. Any tips? You’re running this from a 12V battery?
@@Rubes94 I'm not familiar with the tusk kit let me check and see how it works
@@Rubes94 if the on off bar switch has 12v coming through one of the wires when off you could tap into the opposite side that has no power when off and then ground to the chassis of the bike for ground otherwise that switch must just control the relay which is the most likely scenario and in that case you would need to connect to possibly the switch with the blinkers and stuff. My recommendation is to check the wires with a multimeter and see what you have
@@Dirtscootdesigns okay I have a multimeter in my possession, set it to the V setting? lol I’m electrically dumb But you’re saying there’s a chance the switch does not have power running to it, and I must find another cable with power. Would splicing into the horn/turn signal require use of those for the headlight to work? Otherwise I believe I’d have to splice the + right off the battery (using external 12v battery only for lights)
@@Dirtscootdesigns also thank you for got the help
@@Rubes94 the switch should have 12v coming into it somewhere for the blinkers and what not because all those switches do is control where power goes or what gets grounded one or the other. But yes set it to the v setting and there should be a up to 20 volts option or similar.
Will this kit work on my 2019 yz250f?

@@Dirtscootdesigns yes sir will do that is exactly what I need I’ll take your website into consideration. Would you recommend swapping my sprockets out to something Else considering I’m going to ride it on the road after the conversion? Something to run my gears out longer? Thanks.
@@DjdDndnd-m4n for sure switch to smaller sprocket in the rear!

It should as long as you tap into the stator or use a rechargeable battery
Where did you get the blinker, tail light, head light kit?
Check out my website at dirtscootdesings.com for my kit, I still sell similar options to this but better made
Thanks for doing this! Laptops are a no go
The wr doesn’t look as good tho
Will the work in a 450f yamaha 2024
Yes it's basically the same bike, mine is a 24 450fx
I've been studying about pem reactors. It would be amazing to see a hydrogen powered PC. I might've been off topic but it's just a different energy storage.
That would be sweet!
Would that setup be possible with a mini portable PC? Dude I'm seriously hoping you could achieve 100% whichever you're working on. I just spent too much and can't stand how easily obsolete Laptops can get and PC lifespan is much more on the table.
You mean like the small ones that are pre built?
Those front turn signals are what I've been looking for! Would they work with full wrap or flag handguards without being obstructed? Your whole kit is really good and looks a lot better than the tusk one I got by a long shot. Would the new front indicators be sold separately in the future?
Thanks! And it's not an option yet but I can add that on the website if you are interested! And it should work with handguards because I let you make the last bend to whatever height you want
I do offer partial kits so I could make something happen for you
dirtscootdesigns.com/products/diy-motorcycle-blinker-kit
@jankyadventureswithjackson Thanks so much for the reply! Rare to find that from most companies. I'll be getting those pretty soon :)
Do u think you’ll ever have a tutorial on how to install and wire it?
This video was for a specific customer and each video is tailored to that customer but if you order the full diy kit for 150 dollars it would be step by step and how to do it and have instructions check it out at dirtscootdesigns.com
That’s great. Looking to do something similar. Thanks for this 😊
Still working great to this day
Love this project. Curious if you are interested in maybe publishing something like a how to or intractables? Maybe outline your materials and how you assembled the power system? There isn't much documentation for custom ITX DC to DC battery powered PCs.
I would definitely be interested, I am actually doing some upgrades to it soon and could do something like that, my dirt bike street legal kits have been keeping my busy though
@@Dirtscootdesigns I would love to see a sort of kit that fits INSIDE the volume of the flex ATX PSU that includes a Buck & batteries to then pair WITH a pico. Maybe a standard hobby battery AND buck that could bolt together in a frame and fit INSIDE volume limits of the Flex ATX.
Anything that's a parts list and just bolts together would be killer.
@@greenprotag I might be able to put something like that together on my website
I'll definitely be ordering a kit in a couple of weeks for sure.
Dude you got talent, keep this up you’re killing it man. I’m about to head to your website and look for a kit for my new to me 2013 Yamaha
Glad to hear it! Thanks!
i have a 2023 crf250r, i just need the headlights and i just wanted to ask if it will drain my battery or not, thanks
No problems at all they draw very little power check out my website as well, dirtscootdesigns.com
Have you thought about maybe a vertical mount for the rear instead of horizontal? I dont know if its legal but could look cleaner than regular horizontal
I think that in some states you can I could make it an option for sure
That looks great. Estimated price on everything including wheels? Also what if u have a bike without a title? Can it still be made street legal. Maybe dumb question but I’m new
As long as you have a bill of sale I think you would be okay and the kits I make are 299.99 wheels run about 1000 normally for a supermoto setup
Needs license plate holder and mirrors.
Yep plate mount is also in the works, a lot of states don't require mirrors and I figure anyone can buy those separately from Amazon instead if they need it
this is all very cool and i know a prototype but i feel like your front blinkers and back lights need to be mounted above the handle bars and back plastic because for practical use it may be hard for driver especially in taller vehicles to see your lights but its awsome anyway good work
If you want really easy to see lights this kit isn't for you, it's basically designed to comply with laws but be stealthy and hidden. Also you can bend the mount so that the blinkers are not as close to the bars and easier to see
Also the tail light can be bolted as far back as you want to, you could actually have it sticking out from the fender
@@Dirtscootdesignsooh okay
