I destroyed the cheapest angle grinder at harbor freight.
Просмотров 309Месяц назад
It's exactly what the title says it is. I absolutely pushed this grinder to it's limits and then made it take the long nap, I paid $13 with inside track membership! It's main price is $14.99 originally. Not a very scientific study but it sure it fun just to push something to it's limits! Any other suggestions just drop them below and I will see what I can do! #funny #humor #diy #review #welding...

I have the 215 migmax .Got on a open box deal . really smooth welder. the auto set works great.
@@larryguevara3350 I bet that's a fantastic machine for sure! I still use the fire out of this little guy till this day, still humming along! Thanks for the view and comment!
Thanks for this review😊
@@Lesingedu69 thank you for watching! Be sure to subscribe and stick around I've got a lot more to come!
What amp breaker are you using on 240V? The specs recommend a 63A breaker, but like most, I only have a 50A breaker...
@@Josh-pr9rt running it off a 50 amp! Haven't had a single issue from it, and I've ran it pretty hard some days :). I've been ran it off 30 amp to prove a point (don't recommend for long). Have a great day and thanks for the view! Stick around I've got more coming
Nope
@@jameschuke4104 it works better as a vent hood over a working area. I didn't properly test it in that aspect so it definitely looks like it failed me. Working on getting something set up to make it a permanent fixture over my welding table, thanks for the comment and view tho have a good night.
Solid attempt, net improvement for sure and with time, I could see this getting better and better
@@rishon1273 thank you for the comment! I appreciate the input as well! Trying something new with it at the moment stick around! Glad to have ya here.
Let it go bro
@@rubywilson2568 it's still got some life in it!
It’s the best 10 dollar grinder ever
@@AbstractErick I agree for $10 it absolutely slapped, it delt with my nonsense fairly well.
not a good test.
@@jamesseif2180 sorry you feel that way! I wasn't really trying to be scientific with this test in any way, (given the light-hearted nature) but I can buy another one and give it a more scientific approach I guess? Anyway thanks for the view and comment! Have a great weekend
Nobody is going to be impressed that you destroyed a cheap tool from Harbor Freight. You get walk in and get that warrantied. If you want to go viral, go destroy the most expensive power tool in the world. While you're at it, go into debt to make that video.
It wasn't about impressing anyone, it was about putting it through the paces and seeing how long it would last! But I do appreciate you taking your time to leave a comment, I don't try to have any pride or anything while making videos like this or a sense of accomplishment. I knew I could snuff this grinder out in seconds but it was more for the "what if" factor. Again thank you for the comment and view my friend! Have a great weekend
@whattheweld9396 I was just messing with you lol. I like harbor freight and their stuff. Their warranty is impressive. Not a whole lot of places where you can walk in and out with a new tool.
@PrecursorYang you got me bud lol I just woke up and I was like well yes and no haha They did try and get me to buy the extended warranty I just looked at them sadly and said "it won't be pretty" haha thanks again man
No lifetime warranty on Warrior.
@@6atlantis I believe it was a 6 month or 3 months extension not sure. I do know it would cost me more in fuel to go and warranty it than it would to just buy a few at a time haha
Thank you! I was looking for exactly this comparison.
@@TestEric I'm glad I could help out! Be on the lookout for more harbor freight comparisons, and possibly even more of this unit itself!
One of your best videos yet! That grinder lit smoked so easy.
Thanks for the comment! It did go out in a pretty impressive way! 😂
🤷🏻♂️ DUDE YOU GOTTA GIVE THE TOOL A CHANCE TO PICK UP SWEEEEEED 🤦🏽♂️💥BEFORE APPLING 🤷🏻♂️💥🤦🏽♂️
@@quetzalflight5790 was testing their torque in that application, thanks for the input though!
🤔😅 GREAT IDEA USE THE GRINDERS TO FIX YOUR WORK TABLE 😂
@@quetzalflight5790 it was actually the wife's present I'm working on! I told her I needed to use it for a side project real quick and almost ruined it haha.
Because of the accessories, the job smart almost seems like a better deal
@@squirrellonastick it definitely is the more giving of the two, especially if you consider those attachments are roughly $10 separately this makes the die grinder literally about $5 loo
@whattheweld9396 having watched the rest of the video.... Why would you even bother with that Amazon one 😆
@squirrellonastick I mean if you like the ergonomics better then go for it but the tractor supply definitely took the win here by a lot lol
Hope everything is good with your family. I would like to see more Harbor Freight tool reviews please.
@@cjmoney7 absolutely! And things are going as good as they can for the times we are going through. Thanks for the comment I appreciate them all!
Hang in there man. I hope your doing ok.
Doing pretty good so far, keeping myself busy as always! Appreciate the comment my friend.
I'm sorry bud. You need anything, let me know.
Thanks man, appreciate you reaching out buddy.
Nice
@@KeithMaristany thanks! Unfortunately this bike is long gone but I'm glad people are still checking it out haha
I bought the 65DS and having trouble getting it to cut at all. it blows a hole than cuts off. I'm using it on 110V. only goes to 45 Amp on 110. cutting 1/8 plain steel.
@@drbooo so either your tips gone bad (the inner two not the outer) or you don't have enough air pressure. Or last but not least you are getting a very poor ground. I can make a trouble shooting video here in a bit
This is a safety video of what not to do. And the importance of a clean work space. Better luck next time buddy.
I agree with the work space, and it's not completely done just yet still have to add a hood to it and whatnot. Thanks for the comment and view anyways sorry it wasn't to your liking, anyways have a good one and thanks for watching!

Thats face shield isnt ment for welding and its also on amazon
@@taku3702 the video is geared more towards "things you would need in a welding shop" I apologize for my misworded title. I also ordered all of this from Temu directly so technically it's all Temu lol. I've noticed Amazon has a ton of the same stuff so I stopped bothering with it anymore
Good job, I've looked at andelli in the past, you really gotta decipher their sales patter. Plus, they seem to bring a new model out on a monthly basis.👍

"It will cut." -forged in fire guy
Lol yes!!
When you were cutting, were you hooked up to home 50 amp or were you on a 30 amp generator? I couldn't tell if the sound was maybe a generator or just the fan of the cutter.
