Really need an extra New Zealand side asap . PNG deal makes sense from the nrl prospective because there getting a shitload of government money for it but gee it would have been good to have a Pacifica side based out of cairns . Need to have a international break in the origin period with nz , Samoa , Tonga and Fiji the crowds were so refreshing with the atmosphere and the hymns being sang during the games Origin needs to stay on a Wednesday they tried other nights it didn’t work . They also need to make the eligibility stricter and if they match payments with the international period it’ll weed out the ones who just want a paycheck it’ll bring back a lot more passion . They also need to ref the game the same throughout the whole season and not have one set of rules for the home and away season then once the finals come along the whistle goes in the pocket

I even think if they have the same person run the bunker for every match, that reduces the variance from official to official in the bunker

I like some of the suggestions. Particularly the stadium one. I always thought that some stadiums should be the home venue for 2 teams, and when they play you get a double home header. A local Darby on steroids. Brisbane have that at suncorp. Why couldn't the roosters and rabbitohs have that too? A bit too late now, but allianz stadium could have been the home ground for both teams. It Is spitting distance from Redfern oval. Then maybe invest in a new stadium in kingsgrove/Beverly Hills for the dogs and and the dragons to share. Right on the M5 and train line, so easy access.

Relax the rules on contact. there was no excuse last year for being penalized for a cheek slap, or lightly tapping the kicker's legs. consistency across the board on obstruction. so many tries got allowed when they shouldn't, and vice versa. less teams so that every team can play each other twice. there wasn't enough of a talent pool for the Phins, let alone more, though the Phins have exceeded some expectations. for example, fold Tigers and instead have New Zealand 2. i think that makes more sense. relax the rules on eligibility. how cool would it be if you could play for both NSW and New Zealand? Or alternate between Tonga Samoa and NZ if one wishes. more player freedom would be great in terms of rep footy. And of course more international games, with more variety in terms of teams. For example Pacific Islands All Stars vs Europe All Stars. And Nathan Cleary could play for Europe if he wants.

I have two more suggestions: 1. Have the bunker rule on forward passes in try scoring situations. Surely if they can rule on offside they can rule on forward passes? 2. Have each team play each other once before playing each other again. It's super embarrassing seeing one team play a team one week and to have them play the same team three weeks later.

@tradesmarksports I agree with the video ref involvement, it’s unnecessary for them to be that involved. Also it’d be nice for them to bring out a new updated version of the game. They have one out on PS4 called Rugby League Live 4 but feel like they should be doing what FIFA are doing and bring one out every year.
